I've been lucky with the servers and such, but the big advantage to being a graveyard worker is that most of the problems have been caused by overpopulation, including the instance "outage" (was just overloaded). About to hit 40 on my WHM already

Loving the game so far...but kinda surprised that I'm already approaching the level cap on my first class. Wasn't expecting it to go this quick...hope they got plenty of endgame stuff to start doing now, or I'm gonna go mad leveling all my other classes...

Edit: Forgot to mention, there's also another solution for Scholar/Summoner, though it takes time. For 10,000 grand company seals, you can buy an item that resets all your attribute points and lets you re-allocate. I'll probably get it for my int-based ACN once I unlock Scholar, just so I can heal at full potential...

Uncle Khiras - True, true -- but that could get really pricey if you EVER plan to go back to Summoner or swap back and forth Cleric Stance is, as I said, an imperfect solution, but it's doable. Given than Scholar has 2 summons while Summoner has three, I think it would have been reasonable to give them a Stance that does the same thing, just without the heal penalty or damage bonus.

Note that Jobs do *not* provide any passives like extra MND, tho leveling either job will get you the bonus INT from Arcanist (lv14, 16, 32).

If only the airship were cheaper x.x I wanna say it's charging me 200g a trip as a lv25 chara -- Unless I'm literally teleporting all the way across the planet to a non-Favorite Aetherite crystal (Favorite cuts the cost in half, but you can only designate 3 of them -- I just set them as the 3 main cities, and the HomePoint as my current non-city quest hub), it's cheaper to port than to fly. Love me some chocobo porters, too dirt cheap and it gives me a minute to grab a drink or take a *ahem* break.

For those new to the series -- Level Sync is your friend. In FATEs, or, as I call them, "Glorious Clusterfuck Battles", the game offers to Level sync you if you're too high -- you get temporarily reduced in levels so you can participate -- and get EXP/Gil/Seal rewards WITHOUT just walking up and ruining everyone's fun by one-shotting the boss. Dungeons do this to you automatically, which means one simple thing -- It's impossible to outlevel any of the Instanced content ^_^ You can be running around on a lv50 WhiteMage and still find a fun challenge in a lv16 dungeon because of this

Just remember, while this doesn't screw with your gear, it DOES temporarily cut off your access to spells that were learned at levels above the cap. You can account for this in macros by doing something like this:

Say you're on THM, your real level is 30, synced to 20. This disables access to Thunder II but allows the use of Thunder. To make ONE macro that lets you use "The best one available", write it up as such:

/macroicon "Thunder II"
/ac "Thunder II" <t>
/ac "Thunder" <t>


The first line is optional, and lets you see the MP cost/cooldown on the spell name you have typed in; if used, it MUST be in the first line. What this does is, if Thunder II is usable, it casts it, and ignores the second line (it will show an error message in the chatlog, but you can disable that). If only Thunder is usable, it will cast that instead.
