-a random assortment of AVON goods from my partners grandma (she buys for every one, though in this case she works for Avon and gave my friend and I a random assortment of goods. For some reason, my friend got tanning lotion and anti-aging cream!)
-$30 gift card.
-two movie tickets.
-soap.
-chocolate.

I actually picked out my sisters gifts for me while shopping. I really wanted the boots, but couldn't really afford them at the time, and she was still looking so it worked out perfectly.

The only rant really have i my mom insisted I make a amazon wish list which took me forever to think of things i needed and besides the Kindle which i already knew about bought nothing on it, and bought me two things she already knew i had. Oh well my sister is getting my old suitcase and my desktop kurig so it works out. I would be happy just spending time with family.

The issue with buying me gifts is that I generally buy myself what I want b/c I hate asking for things. But this year I got a few things.

My mother gave me a metal wallet engraved with my name and a card that made me cry. With her fighting cancer all year, having her be here with us is so special and I will never take for granted that any of us will be around next year. And a B&N gift card.

Hubby got me a beautiful and I do mean beautiful labradorite ring along with a matching anklet and necklace from Stella and Dot, He also got me a Rebelle Nerf gun (the battle is on), I also received a new case for my iPad air (Thor, baby!!)

My daughter gave me a handwritten card and once again, I cried. She's only 8 but so mature for her age and it was genuinely from the heart. A friend gave me starbucks coffee and some some great lotion.

the kids had a good haul. I felt slightly bad for my son as my daughter had a load more gifts to unwrap, but that was because his grandparents sent him a wad of cash in lieu of buying gifts since he's getting older.

Also, bought my son 2 books he asked for and now I have no idea where they are.... :/ Hopefully, Ill find them before March and they wont be birthday gifts.

I got socks (but awesome Christmassy and colorful ones for everyday), a Lisa Frank unicorn hat, pirate pajama bottoms, chocolate, a share in a cow, and a 2002 Buick Regal.

Though I did make a pretty darned good risotto today.

And the Mrs. and I are thinking about buying an Android tablet, as a "family" gift, but not right away.

I'll combine birthday (18th) and xmas gifts:

From my love (Dragon_Wings): a little figure of the ninth doctor, a stuffed black panther (named him Jayne from Firefly), a boba fett shirt, a batman shirt and a shirt of my favorite band. Got her a tenth doctor shirt and darth maul shirt.

My roommate- batman lego set, batman finger things (stickers to use your fingers in battle), joker hot wheels car, a scooby doo candy cane, a chocolate bar and a batman piggy bank. got her some perfume and a little mermaid waterglobe and her hubby a batman toy set joker key chain and a hot wheels monster truck. Their daughter a couple bath toys.

Roommate's parents- two batman toys (a joker and batman really), some chocolate coins and shoe laces that are joker colors. Got them some candy. Their nephew, a picture of a lizard that was his and some skate pads.

My grandmother- wizard of oz and calamity jane on dvd (I love me some old musicals) and gave me money to bring DW down next month and do something with her.

Rest of my family gave me money. Right now paying all major bills so then when DW comes down I don't have to worry too much about saving money or paying bills then.


I bought myself a nice little tablet for my birthday. And a few prints of new artwork I have done along with frames.

I told Hubby not to worry about getting me anything, because in all honesty, there's nothing that I really need or want. I got him and Stepson their gift on Black Friday- a 50" TV and the both love it - Stepson loves that he can plug a HDMI cable into his laptop and play YouTube videos on it.

My parents gave us $100 for our anniversary on the 12th, and another $100 for Christmas - we're thinking of using it towards a gym membership as we let ours lapse and I REALLY miss the pool, while hubs misses the sauna and hot tub.
