I'm just over the 17K mark and I hope to hit the 18K mark before I head to bed tonight. *fingers crossed*

I'm currently at 29,473 words (according to my word processor). I started a few days late, but it helps that I had a pre-existing partly-written story to start from - though I rewrote the whole thing on the fly, using a different take on the overall plot and trying to slow down the pacing a bit (since I was running out of ideas too early in the timeline).
And my single best day (about 7000 words!) involved writing a series of scenes that are completely new. (You wouldn't believe what sort of shenanigans can go on in the middle of building a computer - or what happens to that computer afterwards. Years afterwards, I mean.) As a result, I now have flashbacks, side-stories and amusing asides in progress that should end up all tying together neatly at the end. Some of them are still just a chapter title and a brief synopsis, but they are things I can carry on writing when I get stuck elsewhere.
It might end up being too much material for a single novel. Luckily, there are other possible formats...

My best day last year was at the Midway Madness writein (and potluck!) and I did 7,000. This year I need to do about 10,000, so that I can catch up to within "maybe I can pull this off" range.
Today was another day of nothing, but I was still productive! I made a tray of tartlets, a giant bowl of spaetzle, and just put a 10lb pork shoulder into the crock pot for the night. For I may be a writer, but at heart I am a cook, and thus an impressive wordcount is not quite as important as an impressive contribution to the food.My webcomic is called Sidekick Girl. Val's job is kinda like retail, except instead of corporate's dumb policies, it's the Hero Agency, and the SC's are trying to take over the world.

Plodding along slower than I wanted to because of getting sick a couple of times and life generally getting in the way, but I'm sitting at just over 26k right now. My fiancee has been kicking massive booty and is at 52k. I work this week and then I have 5 days off, with a weekend on both sides of that, for a grand total of 9 days to finish and probably at least do a spot-edit of my draft before putting it away to let it marinate for awhile before I officially revise it."You are loved" - Plaidman.

I haven't really been tracking much. I had a 27k story, but most of its writing happened in October.
I figure I've done about 3k in that one since November started.
Another story is about 5k, but that one started before November as well, and has stalled out as other ideas have grabbed my attention.
What's funny is the first story (the 27k story) has a character that was just going to be a throwaway. In for the scene to say a few lines, and never seen again. Too bad for me, he decided he wanted to say more. In the past 2-3 days I've written about 6k words on his story (in a new independent story). Which means instead of being a throwaway character in the big story, he's now a cameo character. :P. I figure I've got about 6k more to go before his story wraps up.

Crossed the finish line tonight, just barely. I was at 49966 when I ended the scene I was working on and didn't want to start the next scene just to hit 50k, so I ended up going back and adding some fluff text to get there.
By my original outline, I'm at the end of part 1 of 3 for this novel, so I still have a ways to go, but I'm pleased that I won Nano my first year. Going to take a few days off for the holiday and we're going to a renaissance festival this weekend, and then dig back into it fresh next week.

Well one of the stories is sitting at 13.5k words at the moment, but I'll probably be able to get going on it again shortly.
Main reason it's stuck is because I had a new idea that jumped the queue. Pumped out 17.5k story over the past week or so just to get an idea out.

I'm a couple days ahead on mine, only have about 2000 words to go to get to 50K. That's not where the story ends, of course, so I'll keep going.
Last year I made my 50K by Nov. 30 and kept writing, finishing up on Dec. 26.
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

Same here. Won, but need to finish my novel. I wound up getting sick AGAIN right after thanksgiving. I was only 2k away when we went to our last-chance write-in, and thought I was done at 11pm. But I found out when I went to validate that my word processor counts contractions as 2 words, and I was 2.5k short when I validated. So I frantically wrote another 2.5k words in under an hour and validated at literally the last minute. But thanks to Village Inn's terrible wi-fi, it didn't go through in time. I had to move to Alaska for a few minutes to make it count, since I had been in time to win.
After this, I need a better word processor. I use AbiWord. My fiancee just downloaded yWriter the other day and loves it. I tried it out, and I think it's great for organization and outlining, but I don't think I can write in it. Think I'll keep looking and hang onto it as a management tool."You are loved" - Plaidman.
