No snow here yet. . . but we did break a record low Tuesday night/Wednesday morning of 20 degrees F by sinking to 18.

I think my overhead heater at work turned on for a whole big FIVE minutes Wednesday morning, then it stopped. It hasn't turned back on since.

I hate winter already and it's not here yet. Throw in another bout of tendenitis in my right shoulder/upper arm and I'm not comfortable at all.

It all melted today. I wore a long-sleeved tee and a light wool coat, no gloves. Tomorrow it's supposed to hit 40 but it's supposed to snow on Monday. I'm so confused.

Holy fog Batman.

I was in the land of cheese yesterday (I was also wearing my #4 Favre shirt, did I mention it was a Vikings shirt?), and while it was in the 40s, the fog was horrible. Sometimes it got better, but at times it was hard to drive. I got out of the fog a bit east of Chippewa Falls, then the torrential rains hit. Then, after I got back into MN, on 694, the snow hit. Finally got out of that near Monticello. Finally got home, with my beer haul, and other stuff a bit after 1am.

The only thing that made it eaxier to drive in the fog/rain/snow is the lack of traffic, it doesn't hurt that Wisc 29 is, basically an Interstate highway.

I can see how the road would be that way if it weren't a 4 lane road. Not this last trip, but I've seen a lot of dead deer on the sides of 29.

It's coming. The weather reports swear it is going to be 2 degrees by Tuesday (first time above freezing for 2015) and less than 12cm of snow all week. It's coming, and I'm holding onto that, we really need it.

Since I'm headed that way in a week and 2 days, I'd gladly offer, but, what little snow we had here has melted. I would go out and grill today, but the yard is a swampy mess, unless it dried out overnight.

I was there a few weeks ago and did bring record cold temperatures on the day of my arrival, but unfortunately, still not cold enough to bury Jester in snow.

Forecast for my area says 75F tomorrow. Last Wednesday/Thursday school was out on snow days.
