Both my office job and my retail job require roughly the same type of clothing, perhaps best described as "office casual." Only real difference is we're not supposed to wear bright colours in the store. I wear a reasonably comfortable pair of "dress" shoes at the office, and a well-made pair of "walking" shoes at the store.
And on Fridays at the office it's "dress-down" day so that brings into play the only pair of jeans I own and the aforementioned walking shoes.

So then I'm go to Bullseye or MalWart and buy a dozen t shirts and some sweatpants. My sister like wearing designer clothes, with highest heels, and a trailing wrap. She looks great there's no doubt about that, and everyone who sees her must be thinking so too, but all I think is OUCH and isn't that wrap going to catch on something? And isn't she afraid she'll leave her $1000 purse somewhere and lose it?
