The 2008 CS Christmas Card List - Discussion

So I put the list in excel, which is sitting on my desktop (I have a bunch of stuff I like to keep handy, all on different tabs in a file - calendar, workout log, links I want to check out...).

The list is all organized by country, then alphabetical by screen name, and I numbered them all, too. (I sent it to a couple of people; they can vouch for my slight insanity.)

Tonight I started highlighting the people I've received cards from. In green (well, light green). 5 so far.

I am taping them up on my wall as I receive them!...looking forward to all the others to help fill up my wall!

Cards destined for England are going out first thing tomorrow morning! All others have been sent out!

One-Fang, last year I taped them on ribbon and strung that up and down my walls. It was easy and it looked really nice. I'm going to do that again this year and hang them from my walls in layers.

Yesterday, I got a card from OneFang, and one card without any writing from Portland Oregon.

I don't 'get' the postal system.

I've got to get them in the post by Nov 16 to get international in time for Christmas. So I do, with only a week to spare. And you guys are getting them already. I somehow doubt that had I sent them early December you wouldn't be getting them till January.

Oh well - cheers to the postal system for being quick! LOL
