If you had a choice of one superpower, what would it be?
You can only choose one superpower. It must be a specific one. You can create it, but be careful not to god-mode it.
You can list and describe all of the superpowers that you'd actually like to have, but you can only actually choose but a single one of them.
I suppose I would choose the power of transformation. Basically I'd be able to transform any part of me (or the whole) into anything I can imagine, as long as it can still support life. The voice box can transform just a little bit so that it could mimic someone else's voice box. Wings could sprout and bones could become hollow to allow flight. Any damage can be instantly restored, as it is considered part of the transformation process; it's not true transformation, but a quick alteration. Like clay, perhaps - any crack in the clay can very easily be mended by remoulding it.
A superpower I'd like to have, is one in which any text I read, I can hear it in the voice of the person who wrote it. That way you can tell if a person is a man, woman, other, or machine.
The power to become invisible and intangible would be a lovely power, as long as there are precautions against reappearing inside walls or people.
I also helped shape a friend's superpower. He wanted something like Invisibility, but I convinced him to take on the powers of the Invisible Woman. You could generate auras around you or others, or around specific areas of space, connected or not, with different properties. You could surrounding yourself and your possessions, a mere millimeter away from your skin, with a field which would warp space/time to simulate invisibility. You could create a thin eggshell wall around a person that would have time negated for anything in its very thin shell, so the person within it would be essentially bulletproof, as bullets would just hang there. The field would have to be heavily speckled though, to allow at least some light and air inside. Bullets would be somewhat larger than that of course.
