        Have you read Juliet Marillier's Sevenwaters trilogy? I just finished them, and liked them a lot. The pace is slow, but her character development is worth it. The books are Daughter of the Forest, Son of the Shadows, and Child of the Prophecy.
        Oh! Thanks! Maybe there shall be book shopping this week!

            Two tarot books for my decks (Druidcraft and Quest);
            .

            Nice, Wagegoth! I'm learning the elemental deck right now (complex and tricky, I've been learning it for YEARS, sadly)

            For reading, I'm on Life in Cold Blood by David Attenborough hes my guy!! Plus, if anyones into reptiles, it's a must read!! Really fascinating and not at all dry and boring. Love it!!!
            Sorry, my love cannot be bought. And if it could, you obviously don't have enough in your account to do so.

              Finishing 'The Inheritence' by Louisa May Alcott.

              Currently looking for 'The Fall' book 7 of the Cherub series by Robert Muchamore (I'm so sad that the US company dropped it after book 6)

              I also need to buy Chibi Vampire vol. 13 at some point...and restart my Vampire Knight...

                  I just discovered that Mary Roach has a new one! Bonk. So far it's every bit as witty and wonderful as her first two.

                  If you have to ask, it's probably better posted at www.fratching.com

                    I'm slightly more than halfway through The Time Traveler's Wife but I went and saw the movie last week anyway. I still want to finish the book (I read it when it first came out but that was a long time ago).

                    I am also halfway through Breaking the Spell by Daniel C. Dennett, which I set aside because I wanted to read The Time Traveler's Wife before I saw the movie. Eventually I will finish them both.

                    I recently bought Freakonomics in paperback, which I read back when it first came out as well. There is a new one, Superfreakonomics, coming out on October 22, so I'm asking for a gift card for my birthday so I can get it then.

                            I really like Barbara Hambly; I'll read pretty much anything she writes. Although I'm not a mystery fan, I have read most of the Benjamin January books, just for the characters and side stories.

                                I just took a look at it; I can see why. I'll stick to the slightly complicated for now.
