Lets see I just finished The Tower and The Hive series by Anne McCaffrey. Considering reading through all the Sword of Truth books again. Until I just looked at how many I've borrowed out. I think I'll read through the Pern series again and be happy until new books come out.
Hee....that's funny. I always think of it as the Rowan series or the Damia series.
I wonder if that has anything to do with when one starts reading it. Lyon's Pride hadn't come out yet, Damia's Children was the last one out when I started.
I'm currently going through Asimov's series via audiobook, which is the only way I can do science fiction. It's just not entertaining enough to read, but I can listen to them.
As for reading, I've been working on "A Night In The Lonesome October" by Roger Zelazny. It's kind of the perfect book for this time of year.
Check out www.wdwinfo.com as well. Tons of great info there, especially about the various events at the different parks and the planned deals for the year to come.
Thanks for the tip! I spole to my mom yesterday about something else and told her we were considering it, and she offered us the use of her timeshare. I looked it up and they have 5 on site! I'm really hoping we can do this.
Just finished 'The Greatest Raid of All' and 'Cockleshell Heroes', both about two daring commando raids during WWII. I am now totally hooked and want to read more about commandos and WWII in general, which is completely out of the ordinary for me, since I am generally a die-hard reader of fiction.
"I can tell her you're all tied up in the projection room." Sunset Boulevard.
Right now, "The Tragedy of Great Power Politics" by John Mersheimer, "Sei Shonagon's Pillow Book" by Sei Shonagon, and "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". One of these is not for class. See if you can guess which one.
All Hail Blortash, King of the Time Traveling Space Bears, who comes to us from Future Year 3032, known to us Earth Mortals as Regular 3032.
Just finished a nice horror book called "666 The Number of the Beast" a wonderful compilation by some very talented authors, in preparation for All Hells Eve. Not sure what is next, depends if I can find the bag of books I bought before I went on my trip... the Beau hid them.
...But probably "Marley And Me"

Then you are reading the wrong Sci-Fi. Have you tried Louis McMaster Bujold?
Well, considering most of her works are not what I consider to be Science Fiction, but more fantasy, I would probably agree, but I've not read any of her works that I can remember.
When I say Science Fiction, I mean books like Asimov's Robot and Foundation series, or Dune, or perhaps Heinlein's Puppet Masters.
When I try to read these, I cannot keep my mind on them, but Fantasy novels are different for me.
