Wizard's First Rule - Terry Goodkind
It's the first book in the Legend of the Seeker Sword of Truth series. It's astonishingly good. Zedd is one of the funniest Wizards I've ever read about. He's such a character. ^__^
Corrected that for you. Legend of the Seeker is a craptastic TV series that is a pale shadow of what the books are. The book series is called the Sword of Truth series, and is about 20 times better than the TV series.

Heheh, thank you. I would've just called it by its book name anyway. I've heard tales that the TV show was absurd. I had to see it for myself. I saw the first two episodes, and the -only- thing that was similar to the book that happened, was that Zedd was naked when they first met him. Nothing else happened when or how it was supposed to.

I finished "The Lost Symbol" the same day I purchased it. I was, to put it mildy, SEVERELY disappointed in this book. :/ And I waited so long for Robert Langdon..ugh.
I was very disappointed as well. I found Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" and "Digital Fortress" to be better reads.

Finished up "Mind Scrambler" the other day. Now I'm tackling "The Last Coyote" by Michael Connelly.

I am currently reading Birnbaum's giude to Walt Disney World, since the hubby and I are 80-85% sure we're going to take the girls there next year for vacation.

I'm on the waiting list for Dan Brown's new book at the library, but I don't know how long that's going to be.

Check out www.wdwinfo.com as well. Tons of great info there, especially about the various events at the different parks and the planned deals for the year to come.

Prior to that I read The Night Angel series by Brent Weeks. A completely awesome read- not just because of it's ubercool name either.
I just finished that series up today! I really enjoyed it! And now I need to wander the library stacks until something calls out to me.

Right now I'm reading a local book, it's a history of the area I live in called Cedar Mill, in Oregon. From the time of the first settlers. I live really close to the pioneer cemetary for the area too which is cool.

After that I have biographies on Goldie Hawn and Mia Farrow to read

I'm reading Isaac Asimov's Foundation series.

I actually don't like it all that much. There's some interesting ideas, but I find the reading rather dry, and the characters don't really come alive for me. I had the same problem with Kim Stanley Robinson's Red Mars.

Not sure what I'll read after this, if I even have time. School keeps me very busy.
