    • I just did 3 laps/loops around a lake, on my bike.

      3 X 1.2mi = 3.6 mi PLUS the distance to and from lake...almost 5 miles yesterday.

      Go me!

              • Another morning bike ride. So humid out though, and it started thundering, so I had to cut it down. 2.5 miles in 21 minutes, burned 271 calories. Not too shabby, I don't think. If I'd actually gone the hour I had planned, I could've burned anywhere from 800-1000 calories.

Wow. I really, really really hope when I weigh in this Friday I'll have finally broken the 20 lb mark. <Crosses fingers>

Here's hoping the weather is good for all of us!

I'm a klutz, too, and I have my wobbly moments, I won't lie. just this morning, turning a corner I almost ran into one of those big silver box/unit things that control the traffic lights.

But strangely, after the first few rounds, I've found my klutziness decreasing, once I get into the rhythm. My coordination has improved a bit, too, in that I haven't had a klutz moment at work the last couple weeks <knock on wood.>

Thought I wasn't going to get my walks in, but I did at work..2.5 miles (about 1 hr) before the rain hit, and another 4.5 after work...found some new trails to explore

                              • Ya know, my boss/friend keeps telling me I need a dog, and every time I hike I am jealous of the dog hikers.....the 2 things keeping from doggie ownership is I'm not home during the day, and my cats will kill me.

Been thing if (when) I get my 3rd kitty, I want one I can leash train
