Got up early and went for a bike ride, roughly half an hour. Rode 3.6 miles, burned 306 calories. Then came home and stretched for about 10 minutes. All in all, feeling pretty good, and after I shower, I should, in theory, be awake enough to face the day, and face work. In theory.

I've ... not exercised in over a week. Considering I'm on holiday tomorrow, I can't see me getting in my bikini.
The weather's been atrocious - either far too hot for me to sleep properly, or pissing it down to make it difficult to breathe. I'm also saving my knees for scampering around chunks of Italy. Not even weighed myself.
My apologies.

Hey all. So I used to be somewhat of an athlete. I pride myself on knowing that I used to be capable of squatting more then twice my body weight (yes, I'm female. no, I did not look like a scary body builder). Well I've been at my current job for over 2 years now and it's very sedentary. As in sitting for ten hours a day... I've put on about ten pounds and I want to lose the fluff. I was finding it hard staying dedicated because i can't find a work out buddy and no one else but me seems to see the gut I've developed, so I have little motivation. But this thread will help if I know people are reading my progress and holding me accountable for slacking off.
So! Current stats: 5'2" 137 lbs.... Goal: 126lbs or simply leaner figure.
Because I spent so much time weightlifting I have very dense muscle mass. So I may not lose the weight, just as long as my clothes fit better
Anyway. I walked a mile with my doggies and then did 3 sets of 10 push ups and sit ups with my exercise ball. The goal is to do it again tonight when it cools off a bit."I'm working for popcorn - what I get paid doesn't rise to the level of peanuts." -Courtesy of Darkwish

OVER 8.5 miles walked
3 at lunch (just shy of 1 hour) and over 5.5 on the trail (1 hr 45 min) I was going to try for 9....but then I knew if I did 9, I'd want to round off to 10..and I was gettin' hungry (yumyum noodle soup)
Weigh in tomorrow.....eeek!

I did good! I actually did my second walk with the dogs last night. The reason I'm so excited I actually did it was because I was hanging out with my friend and it would have been easy to not do it. But I got her to walk with me. Anyway, walked this morning and then rode my bicycle to work.
I need to do some strength training exercises on my lunch break and walk the dogs when I get home from work tonight. That should total roughly 90 minutes of physical activity for the day."I'm working for popcorn - what I get paid doesn't rise to the level of peanuts." -Courtesy of Darkwish

i didn't do last night's walk. Today my left calf was cramping a bit so instead of a walk I stayed home and did some stuff on the exercise ball. I did do strength training on my lunch break yesterday though

The 11th I went to a wedding reception where I only had one treat. That's amazing for me and my sweet tooth. I walked that day. Today I biked maybe a mile. It was supposed to be longer though. The one mile was a combination of biking and riding the bus to a friend's. The plan was to bike home (the buses stop running really early around here), which would have been roughly 3-4 miles. But my friend insisted biking home at 3 AM is dangerous and wouldn't let me leave til I let her give me a ride. I have been foiled! Now I'm too sleepy for even a dog walk. So yeah, I sleep."I'm working for popcorn - what I get paid doesn't rise to the level of peanuts." -Courtesy of Darkwish
