Weighed in and I have officially lost 20.6 lbs! Yay!!

Haven't really been working out this week, though. Haven't mustered up the strenght to get up early enough to go for a bike ride. Pah...I'll start again soon, I promise!!
20.6!! Congrats No worries on not wokring out this week....everyone needs a break....your body will appreciate it!

Peopl at work are now commenting that "wow," they see me walking on my lunch break with my pack one (I change shirts, and its just easier to walk w/ the pack than store it at my desk)

3 people so far have commented (positively) on my new appearance....I'm rather liking it.

Though I must admit....I lost fat in some places I'd rather no......lol

    • Wii Fit age 33. I didn't use it for 11 days but my weight is the same as it was then.

And there's something wrong with the step class thing.. I got perfect scores until halfway through, when it suddenly accused me of not doing the class.

      • Just did Wii Fit for the first time in about a year (because using it for a scale)

My Wii Age is 30 (I am 31) Did about 30 mins exercise.....I only got to walk 1 mile at work....damn rain.

Made the mistake of weighing myself at night...Wii yelled at me for gaining 2 pounds

        • I do believe the hubby and I are losing weight. We are finding our jeans are getting loose! We are taking it slow. Mainly we are changing what we.

And we have been walking almost every night, tonight was too bloody hot.

          Cheering everyone on!

          • Today is the last day of the diet.....now its just being aware of healthy eating

Weighed myself again....actually lost 0.5 lbs since Tuesday (this is why I shouldn't weigh myself at night)

Hopefully it won't rain.....I missed walking yesterday...funny how it got to be habit

              • Walked a metric craptonne over the last few days. No idea what my weight will be like when I get back, but I've buggered these trainers sideways.

Also, been damned hot. I reckon a gallon of water went through me when in Pompeii for about five hours. Will need to rehydrate when I return.

                  • One of these days, I want to go to the ruins of Pompeii. I really, really do. But then, I want to go to Europe and also track the course of the Black Death, over the 3 distinct legs that it took, too. Ah, dreams...

All righty, back on topic. I got up and went for a bike ride this morning! Yay! Just a short one, though, but I think I accomplished another personal best! About 3 miles in 24 minutes. Burned 270 calories. This makes me happy.

                    • I went on a fairly treacherous hike on Tuesday. It wasn't a long hike in distance, but there was much rock climbing, traversing of rivers and running like a girl from rattlesnakes and giant spiders. It was a good workout. The day after I was too worn out to do much. I did some strength training on my lunch break thursday and walked saturday. I dunno if I will do anything today, although I'm thinking no. However Monday, some friends of mine and I are joining a gym and I can't weight to get started. (I'm very easily motivated to going to the gym if I have to pay for it. )

ETA: Hoping for another hike on Tuesday.

                      • First proper day back. Despite the occasional pizza, the more regular pasta, and the hundreds of gelattos, I came away abotu 17st 7lb from Italy. There may be some more dehydration in there, and some more stabilisation, but I think I did fairly well all done and said. That said, I pretty much ruined a pair of trainers in the process.

When my knees are feeling better, I'm going to get back on the hill. For now, I'm going to hit the fruit and smaller portions again.

                        • Was bad this weekend......ate a bit too much junk food, and did not work it off.
I *did* do my 3 miles at work, so that felt good, but I fear the weigh-in tomorrow (I may skip it....lol)

Looks like rain all week, so I may be forced to the gym....eeekkkks.

                            • 17st 5lb this morning after breakfast, so getting back to my lowest in some time. However, I don't know that my knees are going to be up for the impact of the Hill of Doom for the moment. Am currently waiting for the remainig twelve minutes on Ebay for an exercise bike - the impact is lower and the burn is steady. Only £16 if my bid goes through.

                              • I forgot the rule I made for myself....never weigh oneself after a post-hike pig out.....even so, only gained 0.9 lbs.......my hike was easier than I expected, so something is working

Gonna rain tomorrow Hopefully I will get a walk in, or I will go to the gym.
