    • I've just recently started watching UFC on television, and it's kind of inspired me to start working out. In fact, I just got done doing about 500 crunches and who knows how many push-ups.

School started today, so I hope I'm not too exhausted from homework to do anything. I'm trying out for the wrestling team so that I can continue, and I'm already on the shot and discus team, so I've got that next semester.

My friend practices Jiu Jitsu, so I think I'll ask him where he trains.

      • At work right now. Figured knees were recovering nicely after the holiday walking. Knelt down and nearly couldn't get back up.

Going to be a bit more careful...

          • My arms and glutes are sore from strength training, which I take to be a good sign. I'm so excited.

Heading back to the gym today after cleaning and doing homework. I have motivation to really kick it into gear before next month.

              • Thirty and a half minutes (Sinbad was goood!) and 455 calories. Heart rate didn't peak as much this time, but I'm still sweating like a good 'un.

I did this for the first time without the extra cushion. That really hurt.

                Ow.

                • This is why I hate eating at my 'rents....my mom asked 3x times if I was actually eating, then made me leave with yummy cookie/pumpkin bread.....if I didn't take it, it'd prolly get tossed, and now its in my freezer...teasing me....must give it away

Looks like no exercise this weekend, and I'll have to take it easy....I'm going to NH in month to climb a mountain.

                    • Weigh In Time For Me!

Weighed and measured in today, and while I didn't lose a lot in the way of pounds, I lost inches, so it excites me, all the same. And the numbers are:

                      Total pounds lost: 25
                      Total inches lost:
                      1. From hips: 5"
                      2. From waist: 2.5"
                      3. From ribcage: 1.5"
                      4. From bust: 2"

All in all, not doing too badly, despite my slip ups and periods of lost motivation. If I actually managed to work out more often than I have been lately, I'm sure I'd see change a little more quickly. As it is, I worked out twice this week, which is two more times than I have been in the last few weeks, so I'm proud of myself regardless.

                      Just thought I'd share!

                      • Nice work! People at work are saying I look like I've lost a load, but mostly it's the toning up part that does the image.

Just now, a painful thirty minutes and 468 calories.

                        Ow.

                        Limp.

                        Ow.

                        • I lost 15 pounds, now I've gained back 5. Same scale. I'm so confused.

I verbally tore my mom a new one for slacking off on our gym attendance. I'd go alone, but I have crippling anxiety going into public without an escort, so I can't. She promises to do better, and I did too. Yay, family.

I've been thinking about getting that, didn't Bob Green have a hand in its development?
