  • Once again rejoining this thread. My boyfriend and I are trying to get in shape together, on the theory that sex is more fun when you're fit, so it's much more likely to actually stick this time.

Today I did a workout I found online, and boy am I wiped. I had to modify every move, and I couldn't even do some of them, due to the fact that my knees refuse to hold my weight in a crouch.

I feel great, though, if a bit wobbly.

Arrgh, I gotta go stretch and catch a quick shower before work, probably should have left myself more recovery time, but I didn't want to put it off another day.

    • Stil can't work out as much as I'd like, but I am still counting calories (and afraid I am getting too obsessed with it...I always have my iPod touch on me, using my app...meh....)

Though I did have to hit Goodwill to buy new clothes....and I fit into such small pants

And I had to buy new undies and bras today...weeee!

Big challenge this weekend....the Big E! We're going for 2 days....lots of fried veggies, and my first pint o' booze in 1 month!

      • I went and signed up with a personal trainer. My first appointment was last weekend and it didn't go well, I had no idea how badly I've been exercising. The way I was doing things I've probably done more harm than good.

        • My back is still pretty sore, but I did about 1/2 an hour on the treadmill at 2.5 mph.

Tomorrow I'm going to a baseball game so I will not be going to the gym.

          • Not been on bike since Monday, but I did work a twelve-hour shift yesterday, all in the warehouse. Yay.

Not sure what that counts for, but my feet hate me now.

            • Interesting....I believe I have plateued. Just to see if I could, I shot for 2 pounds more to lose (with the knowledge they will come back this weekend) and I can't. Oh well.....I am at my weight

              • Odd - despite not eating overly well, and not exercising as much as I should (definitely some overtime in the warehouse, mind), I'm still on 17st 0lbs. Suspect some dehydration in there, since I've been hitting the teabags like you wouldn't believe.

                • Finally got up early enough and went for a bike ride. 36 minutes, 338 calories. Haven't been out in so long, that it was a lot more strenous than I remember! I had planned on doing an hour, but think I need to build myself back up to that. Either way, glad I got back into the groove, if you will. Must must must continue the trend!

                  • Two days in a row, I got up and exercised! Yay! Did level 1 on the Biggest Loser Cardio Max DVD. Warm up and cool down included, I managed 31.5 minutes, 389 calories burned.

And now I stagger off for the shower and to get ready for work. Yaaaay...

                    • I suppose I should start posting on here again...

I have held the weight off that I lost for my medical and lost another 5lbs on top of that.

Im setting a new goal of 20lbs by christmas. That way if I gain 3-4 lbs over December I won't be setting myself back too much.

                      • Apparently, even though I haven't been exercising since before Dragon*Con, my weight loss is noticeable. I got a few mentions of it last night at work. Always a good feeling when that happens.

I'm going to start the schedule up again tomorrow morning, and I'm going to go grocery shopping so I have real food in the house and I don't start munching sweets.

                        • I've been very inconsistent...and tomorrow I'm going to have to go after work and pick up my car (which hopefully will not cost me an arm and a leg), and Wednesday I'm going to PA to see some friends (and meet my friend's new baby). Sigh.

                          • Another day, another workout DVD.

                            32 minutes, 412 calories burned.

Ow. but in a good way...

                            • Did good yesterday, while at the fair I did allow myself treats, but with all the walking, I didn't gain an ounce. And my friend whom I haven't seen in a few weeks complimented me on my loss ( I think it was a compliment, she said I was skinny)
