was getting worried but also even when the surgery is done it takes time to come around from being asleep so that was part of it. And usually - from experience - the pain brings you around or helps with it as I think the nurses have to try and wake you too...yeah first thing i woke to someone calling my name and then the pain...fun times
Plaid just sent me a text to say he was out of surgery and in lots of pain.
He said people if they have his number can text, he just may not reply just yet.
Hopefully there were more updates soon.
You beat me to it! I got the same info from him so he's ok but yeah in a lot of pain and very doped up on meds right now. He did say they had to leave the tumor in his hip cause it's in too deep but that it should NOT affect him in the future. So now he just has to heal up!
Ran into Telecom Goddess on MAX this morning, turns out my office window looks out at the hospital you're in, so I'll be sending good thoughts your way Friday as well.

Irv, it's not always this wet in Oregon. Hopefully you're having nice weather now, the sun is out at the moment.

Latest update as I JUST got back from putting groceries away.
as telcom_goddess said, doped up, however running a fever and they are trying to bring it down and he is asking for updates. I said everyone is rooting for him and happy he is out of surgery
Plaid just texted me to say his fever is down, which is a good sign of recovery. Beyond that he seemed kinda out of it. Can't say that I blame him much there.
Good, I was worried. Still, I remembered how long time it takes to wake up after surgery. Be well, do what the nurses tell you, they probably see hundreds just like you and know what is best for you.
