So, here's a random question. Anyone live close enough that they can go physically visit Plaidman? The reason I ask is because I thought maybe someone could make a get well card on the computer and C&P the well wishes from this thread into it for him?

Just a thought. I texted him earlier while on my lunch break, he's sore and tired, he said. I told him to hang in there because we're all rooting for him here, and he said he can't wait to read it. All 8 pages.

it was telecom_goddess i think. she asked me what he likes I said bring gummies.
i wanted to ask if maybe a card collection could be started but to send to a certain address and then send them all to his place in a box or to someone who could take them to him but that might cause some issues. Basically would have to make sure its ok with him. thats just my thoughts

updates for today/afternoon via text
they took out the pain pump and plaid says he is in burning pain. xrays taken and was told they look great, did more walking and says HE is doing great telecom_goddess visited

Plad, hubby said to keep it up and don't give up. He understands where you are at.

Yes I visited Plaid today and hung out with him for several hours. This is actually the first time we've met I got to meet some school friends of his and some cousins too! All in all he's doing good....I was there when he had the burning pain, nurse says it's the incision pain. He's all done with the pain o'matic thing where he pushed a button and is on pain pills. But he's walking really good I got to see him walk out of his room when he went to go have an xray. He's got a walker which is helping tremendously. He's looking and doing well. He should be getting out of there Sunday or Monday depending.

I printed out this thread as it stood this morning for him to read and he is really enjoying all the well wishes.
