Hugs & good thoughts from me too. I had my fingers crossed most of yesterday that things would go well
      Arp happens!

Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Plaid just texted me to ask me to tell you all that he's "very doped up". The pain in his leg was because they stretched it to equal the other one and the pain should end "eventually". He'll be in the hospital over the weekend.

It sounds very painful . I can't imagine that the stretched muscles won't cramp and hurt for some time. It may give less wear on the joint in the long run, but .

I'm guessing the stretching is by making the stem of the replacement joint long enough that it extends the femur, which would make both legs the same length, and prevent multiple problems later. That's gotta be hell on the muscles, ligaments, and tendons, though.

*hugs* and healing thoughts your way, Plaid!

JUST received a text, Plaid said he was able to move his chair, not much strength but working on it.
                                I suppose thats physical therapy?
