I haven't read in a few months, but the book I left off on was Flu by Gina Kolata, and it talks about various flu epidemics and pandemics. What can I say? I love reading about illness.

I did read "The Help" for my book club. Awesome book!! Was debating on getting it since I'm actually going to miss that meeting, but I am glad I did.

Now, back to the "War of Ancients" trilogy. After that, I must stop buying books and start re-reading

Currently (actively) reading Torch of Freedom by David Weber and Eric Flint.
After that is Gil's All-Fright Diner by A. Lee Martinez.

(I say actively because I have at least half a dozen other books that I'm in the middle of, but not currently working on.)

In that case, may I recommend The Great Mortality?

I'm reading The English Civil War - A People's History by Diane Purkiss.

An RPG I play has gotten me reading about the civil war.

Just got done reading An Echo In The Bone. Not sure what I think of it yet.

Also working on The Forsyte Saga. It's draaaaaaaaaaaaaaaging.

Walden. With everything that's been going on in my life right now, it's a huge relief to take refuge in the woods around Concord. Thoreau was so right in everything he said.

"I Am Legend". The phlebotomist at the blood bank recommended it, saying it was nothing like the movie at all. (The main character is white, blond, bearded with dark chest hair, and presumably less hot, so yeah, so far nothing like the movie at all! )

I've read it before, but I felt the urge to read it again.

Walden was nice, I read that a long time ago. Visited Walden Pond once. Having read the book, it was extra fun.

I'm reading Vanilla Ride by Joe R. Lansdale.

I'm currently reading Casual Rex by Eric Garcia. It's (sorta) about dinosaurs. As PI's. In LA.

The only dino research he did was watch Jurassic Park alot.
