PepsiEdge. I drank that stuff by the CASE when it came out.

Did you know you can't get Diet RC in New Mexico? Not Diet Rite, Diet RC. I have solicited so many of our drivers to come back from El Paso with a case that it's not funny (and they LAUGH AT ME when I get on my knees and beg). I was buying it in Corpus Christi but I can't get any where I'm at currently so if anyone happens to be heading from TX through NM and heading north, please drop a pallet at EQ's.

Some pomegranate gummy candy I used to eat as a wee pup. I'll be damned if I knew what it was, though.

Quincy's all you can eat Buffet from outta South Carolina went outta business long time ago. Ryan's and Golden Corral doesn't cut it.

I miss them so much, I used to spend my allowance on them. My mom would lovingly help me eat them.

But.. then they disappeared from the market. I even have a hard time finding images of the things!

                        • Dunkin Donuts used to do a jelly donut with creme filling. So I had both of my favorite fillings in one donut. It was messy, it was sweet, it was delicious. I had it once and never saw it again.

Doritos 3D. Nacho cheese ones. I could import them from Japan but I don't want to pay $$$.

Planter's Cheese balls. Aid of Rite does a close approximation of it but it doesn't taste the same.

When I was a kid a company used to sell potato chips in gold foil bags and I used to beg Dad to buy me some every time we went to a grocery store that's now out of business.

I had a box of expensive tasting chocolate in college and am now kicking myself I never found out the company name. It was part of a European History class.

Hershey's organic chocolate bags. The only Hershey's chocolate that was good quality and conched properly so you didn't have that grainy, disgusting taste that you get with regular Hershey's.

My Aid of Rite has just discontinued Riceworks chips. I am super ultra mad.

Local grocery store stopped carrying a gluten free spicy "Asian" tofu rice bowl thing. Super spicy but super delicious.

No grocery store here carries Amy's gluten free, lactose free mac and cheese made with Daiya vegan cheese. I found one once at the same grocery store as above, bought it and never found it again.

Local chocolate company cheapened their formula for their fruit slices, vanilla caramels and chocolate in general. It was tastier when I was a kid.

Sesame candy! Exactly what it sounds like-toasted sesame seeds in a hard candy like base. Only available in mix bags from said chocolate shop. Actually...I've not seen it for ages. They also sold whistle candy-hard candy on a stick that you could use as a whistle.

I can't find Slo-Poke caramels, Brach's spiral flavored caramels (caramel with a fruit nougat in the middle in a spiral design), Mary Jane's or Bit-o-Honey's in bags by themselves anywhere here. Well, scratch that. Mary Jane is only available seasonally, and I once found Bit o honey in a bag in a store.

Horehound and sassafras candy by some local company in a white bag. BEST stuff EVER.

Tootsie Roll Apple Pops with caramel. LOVE it. Wish it was available all year round.

Toasted coconut marshmallows. My Aid of Rite carried them for a week then discontinued them. Beh!

                          • I think the candy store near my house has Bit-O-Honey's. He has lots of stuff that I don't see anywhere else.

I'd like to have Hydrox cookies again. They were like Oreos but with a different taste. Years ago they changed something about the way they were made and then the taste wasn't the same. I don't think they're even made anymore.

Alpha-bits cereal, too. They changed the taste, not sure how--different grain? different flavoring?

I was just thinking of these. I haven't found any other brand of cheese balls that comes close to being as good.

Oh, blue cans of delicious, why have you left us?

things I remember and wished they brought back

Crystal Pepsi - MUST COME BACK
Add me to the list of people that want Crystal Pepsi -- THE ORIGINAL FORMULA -- back! It's been nearly 20 years since they introduced it, and I drank it all the time! Sooo good!

I also want the following things back in stores:
                                • Mountain Dew Livewire needs to be consistently available, all year round, EVERYWHERE Pepsi is sold, and in ALL packaging types -- cases of 12 oz. cans, 6-packs of 24 oz. bottles, 2 liter bottles, at soda fountains, EVERYWHERE! It's clearly been THE MOST POPULAR flavor after the original and Code Red, so it makes no sense that it's so hard to find!
                                • Mello Yello -- Coke's equivalent of Mountain Dew, which needs to be as readily available as Mountain Dew.
                                • Frito Lay Chips & Dip kits, a single serving of chips and dip, ready to go! I used to buy the nachos and bring them to work for lunch! Really miss these things!
                                • Frito Lay Go Snacks! Another great idea Frito Lay had several years ago. A plastic "to go" canister packed full of Rolled Gold Mini Pretzels, Cheeto's Cheese Balls, or other snacks! These things were SOOOO perfect for when I went to the movies! If it was cool enough to wear my trenchcoat, I'd put a bottle of soda in one pocket, a Go Snack in the other pocket, and walk right in!
                                • Cadbury Chocolate Creme Eggs! Still haven't forgiven Cadbury for discontinuing these!
                                • Swanson frozen dinners. Here in MD, ALL the big grocery store chains, plus Wal*Mart and Target, stopped carrying Swanson frozen (or "TV") dinners a few years ago, in favor of brands such as Banquet, that aren't as good. With the sole exception of their Hungry Man Dinners, which everyone still carries, if I want a Swanson frozen dinner, I have to go to Mars, the only supermarket around that still carries them here. And there aren't many Mars supermarkets left in my area. Nearest one is half an hour away.
I'm sure there's more things that I'll think of later.
