I loved episode 5 with the liquid-nitrogen-and-sound-wave sorbet/ice cream. Absolutely awesome. (been checking on Youtube for the eps and the best-quality one only goes up to 5 at the moment)

Krupa....seriously, can you NOT tell the difference between filet mignon and veal?!

Elise....again, SHUT. THE. FUCK. UP. I'd compare her to Season 6's Tenille but for then most part Tenille's voice was just loud and she seemed to have one volume switch. Elise just doesn't seem to have a mute button full stop.

I think I know what the problem with Elise is. She's clearly delusional. How else could you explain her seemingly sincere belief that she's a talented cook, better than everyone else, and a clear favorite to win? I mean, despite everyone else on the show, including Ramsay and his sous chefs, telling her that she's got a shitty attitude, she's convinced that everyone's just threatened by her?

        Delusional.

But nothing a little duct tape wouldn't fix.

Elise is just...honestly, she's a walking, talking, living, breathing stereotype. To the point where it's borderline cartoony and I have to wonder if she's for real or if she's just playing it up for ratings.

She reminds me quite a bit of Penny from this season of NFNS. Same kind of bitchy attitude, same kind of I'm-the-best-there-is-and-everyone-else-is-crap, same oh-they're-all-just-jealous-and-I-have-no-friends-here. I predict that she'll meet the same fate as Penny- Not gonna win. And, even if she did, I wouldn't go to her restaurant anymore than I would've watched Penny's show had she won.

There always seems to be one, y'know? Like Ben. I guess he was a good cook, 'cause he almost made it into the final that one season, but I wanted to punch him in the face. Especially when he was all "Oh Siobhan, your sandwich sucks in my professional opinion." Gordon liked it. So shut the fuck up.

I find Penny far more likeable. And I couldn't stand her.

But I detest Elise. To Penny's credit, at least she could cook. Elise doesn't even seem to have that going for her!

This is very true. How many of the challenges has Elise screwed up her portion of and blamed it on someone else?

Well, don't you remember? Nothing could possibly be her fault because she's the best chef EVER.

Absolutely she is. Someone else clearly sabotaged her by undercooking her scallops while she was cooking them. Or something like that.

That being said, I was thinking that the Red Team was being dramatic and catty when they were calling Elizabeth an airhead....until I saw her be a complete airhead and not listen to the women who were basically her freakin' clients! Okay, so you don't know Hawaiian food. Fine. Ever think others on your team just might, ya empty-headed ditz? Sheesh!

Random note, but am I the only one who starts REALLY craving scallops every time they watch Hell's Kitchen? The only time I get them is like once a year at Red Lobster. Om nom nom.

                        And yep...airhead galore.

I do too. XD We don't eat scallops much, sadly, and I always get a craving for them every time I see them being cooked on a tv show.

And, yes, Elizabeth is an airhead. XD And, yet, I would rather have her stick around in the competition more than I would Elise. I hate people who go into...well, any situation, be it a competition, a class, or what-have-you with that level of arrogance and disrespect for everyone including the person who's going to be deciding how long you'll be staying. Thus, I'll be glad when she (and Christian from MasterChef) goes bye-bye.

Actually, I eat scallops relatively often, and have even had an amazing scallop sashimi dish at my favorite sushi restaurant. But I feel sad for you that you only ever get them at Red Lobster. They're so much better than that.

I'm always craving beef wellington after watching Hell's Kitchen. And risotto.

I think Elise is living on another planet or something. Only my uncle is that delusional about himself and his talents.

Also Christian is driving me nuts too.

Of the guys, while Will sometimes gets into the realm of being dismissive, he at least has shown that he knows how to cook. He's pretty solid, and I definitely expect to see him in the top three.

My lady and I are waiting with bated breath for Elise to fall, and fall hard. Unfortunately, that type is all too common (see American Idol auditions) and most of them don't learn even when dressed down by established artists.
