  • Same storm here my friend, same storm here.

Sunday was just really windy, and and off sun. Took a long nap at the bf's, left his house around 10 pm to see snow, but it's been nothing really.

And no, trust me, you do not want to see my scales rub together.

    • I just got the forecast - up to 20 inches of the shit Tuesday.

It looks like we're getting all our snow at the end of winter this year.

      • Yeah, this last week has been "fun" weather wise. Light snow followed by temps above 0C to mostly thaw what fell, then this last weekend Mother Nature decided to quit playing games and dumped a foot on us.

        • We had snow last week. Tomorrow, we're supposed to have ice then rain then maybe snow late at night then snow on Wed. Because, y'know, why not pick the week when I have to be at work at 4:30 every morning to do this shit?

At least traffic will be light?

            (Sorry, It's all I got.)

The ice/snow combo is never fun. Be careful.

            • They are threatening us with snow again this week. It better not happen. Game on Wednesday night that the hubby is threatening to swim to go to (we live across the water from Seattle)

We had snow up here yesterday. It was crazy, schizophrenic weather. One second, it'd be a white-out, the next second, sunny. Snow, sun, snow, sun...none of the snow stuck to the roads, thankfully. It was just annoying and weird. 'Twas an excellent weekend for the Baker bums, though! (Baker bum = someone who spends all their free time on the slopes at Mt. Baker)

                    • It was -20c when I left for work this morning (-27 with windchill). It was above zero when I went home. Calgary's weather is just plain crazy.

We don't get snow over here. And the coldest it gets is around 3C in the morning.

About the same here. Today it was about 80F, currently it is 77F, or 25C for those not used to Faherenheit. And I AM in the same country as most of the people complaining here are in.

Not from me. Coldest recorded temp in Key West is 41F, or 7C. I heard a rumor that one night here this winter it was 48F (9C), but I don't remember that personally, and haven't seen much in the below the 60s to be honest. Even for KW, this is a rather mild winter, following on the heels of last year's amazingly mild winter. (The one before that, not so mild....for Key West.)

In any case, no negatives here. Other than my dating life....or lack thereof.

But it's all cool, because it's all warm. Aaahh...life on a tropical island.

                          • Our (just a few hundred miles north of Jester's) winter has been really mild too, though it has its mood swings. The other night it got really chilly and windy...then it went right back to being warm and muggy again. It rained today, too...got stuck out in it a bit (grr). And to think, this past Sunday's planned Daytona 500 race was actually RAINED OUT for the first time ever...they had to postpone it to Monday night! (I about about 90 miles south of Daytona Beach...)

Which will, if they hit us, and thus will be in our climate, merely be large splashes of water. You DO realize this, right?
