Got another Michael Hunt for the list today.

A few years ago I was taking orders at the cafe and got the name Chun-Li from a rather gorgeous young Chinese lady going to Duke. It was dead so we talked while the drinks were being made and turns out she even studied Wu-Shu.

Oh, if only I hadn't been 17 at the time... ah well, c'est la vie.

In a strange co-incidence, a few years ago, it seemed like every woman I went out with had a last name that sounded like a male first name.
There is a very attractive (i.e. gorgeous) female bartender down here in Key West whose name is George. I am sure it is probably short for something, like Georgeann or whatever, but she goes simply by George. So while it is not uncommon for guys to be drooling over guys in Key West, it IS a bit strange--though not unusual--to hear straight guys saying things like "Man, that George is just a hot little fox!"

While looking through our Sears card activation directory, I stumbled upon a Jimmy Hendrix.

Woulda been cool if it were Jimi. . .although I doubt we would need a Sears card.

I have gotten so many hilarious names..

Charles Charles had season tickets with us.

A man with a British accent called to book and told me his name was Titt... Nigel Titt- He said it in a James Bond kinda way, making it hilarious!

              Looey Dooby

              Anna Cantalope

Gregory House came in the other day. The girl helping him at the counter said "Wow.. You have the same name as my favorite fictional character!"

I'm going to have to look some more up at work, I know I'm forgetting the best ones.

When I was in college, at the place I worked at there was a girl named Gayle that we nicknamed "Samantha."

About the same time, there was a guy in the dorms named Jonathan that we nicknamed "Rob." We had a lot of strange nicknames in the dorms: Schmoo, Goat, Chief, Dallas, Odie, Squaredick, Chavez, Tomato Head....

I was one of the ones that didn't get a nickname. Of course, I was also one of the ones thinking up many of the nicknames we did have.

Oh, and when RW was down here, she got nicknamed "Kelly." Kelly is not her name.

My mom told me of a basketball player named Harry Ass(e) once. I can only imagine what Sportscenter must've been like when they had to say his name.
