Wasn't witnessed by hubs, but told to him by one of my co-workers.
Okay, I worked until a little after 2 PM today, then family & I grabbed lunch and went home and took naps and hung out until later this evening.
Hubs wanted to get a new series of Eberron books that had come out, and he wanted to check if the Gaming Store I work at had the books first so we went there. Kelly & I stayed in the car when he ran in.
Hubs came back out and said "L" told him a wacky story:
We have tables in the back of the store that can be used to play games, around 12 NOON/1 PM our regular Yu Gi Oh! card players start showing up. I'm told that around 5:30, there are informal tournaments that start being played.
Now, our Yu Gi Oh! card players basically spend their entire allowances on the theme decks, boosters, card sleeves. They think nothing of dropping $30 in Yu Gi Oh! stuff in our store (I'm not complaining, but these are kids. When I was their age, I was lucky to get a $1 a week).
Anyways, right before we pulled into the parking lot, "L" had to break up a fight.
Some kids were stealing other kids' cards. Instead of talking to "L" or "J" about it, they decided to go outside to the sidewalk in front of our store and beat each other up! "L" broke it up, but since it was a little too dark, he couldn't see their faces. If he finds out who they were, they are banned from the store.
Sheesh ... I guess CCGs are srs bidness.

Though I'm thinking of buying Munchkin Cthullhu, but we don't have anybody to play with besides ourselves (my hubs & me for a 2 person card game - not for anything else! Get ya'll's minds outta the gutter!
