So, there's not going to be a tow truck. At least, not right now. The guy's finally talked to us, and we've made a deal.
He's going to move his other car that's parked in his spot and let us park there until he can move his car.
Still not sure why he'd park his car in our spot with a busted tranny in the first place. He's apologized and found us an alternative parking spot, so I suppose that works out for now.
That's my biggest peeve. If you want to use our parking for some reason, just ask us and we can probably work a deal. We can be nice people. Don't just park there, though, 'cause we can be really not nice people. (Once, our upstairs neighbor asked to trade spots for a weekend, since one of our spots is near the stairs and his disabled mother was visiting and he didn't want her to have to park across the lot where his spot was. He asked nicely and I obliged and parked across the lot that weekend. Ask, and ye shall probably receive!)
