    Behold the power of moobs.
Will you be requiring a Bro or a Manziere?

I kinda have a question about this... It would be one thing if she ommitted it and you pulled it out on a background check, or if she lied and said that no, she didn't have any past convictions. But I don't understand how you could cut her off if she was honest about it.
Unfortunately, as we were a corporate owned store, any and all types of convictions will disqualify you. We were especially picky about this at that point in time because we'd had some major loss prevention issues in the past.

And as for the no call back thing; we never said we would call anyone back. If I took an application, I would say "I will pass this on to my manager for review." What was kind of lame is that we had to have our Now Hiring sign up all the time, regardless of whether we were hiring or not. This was because we had a really high turn over rate, and they wanted us to have a stockpile of applications to fall back on if someone suddenly up and quit. It was probably one of the most annoying things about that job.

ahem, i sent this to my son so he can know what NOT to do...I hope he stops reading before the discussion skewed into moobs and rap sheets.
You have the right to behave badly. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a blog of my choice.

Every child should learn about the moobs and the bees.

Ahh, well that explains it all!

                Kuzco-
My boss walked by as I read that... I had a hard time explaining the random burst of laughter

Maybe we need to post warnings of "Not Work Safe" if it could cause outbursts like that...

                    3. I shouldn't have to give up step by step instructions as to how to draw a box with a bump out on AutoCAD.
                    4. If I go through all the steps myself showing how it's done you shouldn't have to ask me how to do it again.
I can do that!! On both AutoCAD and MicroStation.

Microstation? That brings back memories. My first above-minimum wage job was working for my father-in-law-to-be, developing and using a database manipulation program for Microstation files.

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE MicroStation. Apparently the version I have is full and unadulterated and worth about two grand...but since my father uses it to design oil rigs and crap like that, I got the software from him. I'm currently using it to design and furnish a four-floor double-semi house with 3 maisonettes and lots of communal areas. Everyone else is getting so confused when they try to use it but I'm slowly getting there.

I used it back when the thing was nearly entirely vector-line orientated. I have no idea what it's like any more, but I assume its advanced beyond that. I got to play with the power grid of the province of Alberta.

I would like to meet the people who laid out the grid for the Blood land and shake them warmly by the throat. WhiteBoys land had, in the text descriptions, things like "pole 2: 31.1 m at 117.2°. Pole 3: 31.1 m same bearing". The Blood had descriptions that included "line angled to avoid trees" and "pole 4: about 25 meters down road". I remember one power line in particular that did a sort of spiral pattern (we believe... at least, that's what was already in the database), with not one single pole having a solid bearing that we could fix... while we're trying to get real-life points on the map so that we could share the thing with other utilities, conservation groups, engineering corps, and so on.
