My sister's family was there not to long ago. I'm just glad I didn't read about them here!

You might have. How do you know one of my horror stories wasn't about them, hmmm?

After all, the same story will sound different from the two different sides. Also, they may not have mentioned something that I wrote about, out of embarrassment or just because they didn't think to mention it.

Or, more likely, and hopefully for you, they just weren't asinine cretins. Well, at least not in my presence.

Is it mean of me to wish that Mini gave the d**kless wonder a good shot with her knee?
A lot less mean than him garroting her with her own lanyard and calling her filthy names. Eventually he will say and do the wrong thing to the wrong person and end up with his nutsack bruised.

Also, in late April, we have a week called Conch Republic Independence Days that has some absolutely hilarious events that are very Key Westy, including drag races (with drag queens, not cars) and bed races (with, well, beds on wheels).
That sounds like amazing fun. I like laid back events, something like spring break would have me hiding in the closet avoiding loud crowds. Chronic pain tends to make dealing with annoyances and crowds bothersome. When I get stuck in a crowd I have to worry about someone hooking a crutch out from under me or shoving my chair so I either catch a finger in a spoke, or between the chair and something hard like a wall or static display [I have had both instances done accidentally and deliberately in the past and recommend neither for continued comfort]

I still owe you a taste of the rum we picked up in Puerto Rico, as a matter of fact. I still haven't cracked open *my* bottle of it, though Robs is all gone!
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.

If he's lucky... Try that shit on the wrong person and it may be the last thing they ever do.

While CRID is not at all crowd-free, it is far less crowdy or crazy than Spring Break. As a great example, last year for the drag (queen) races, my friend Guinness Girl, who has issues with walking, and thus is not good in crowds, showed up and enjoyed the event immensely, despite the gatherings of people there. Generally the biggest crowds for any event that week are for the bed races, and even that is manageable, I believe. Unlike Spring Break, which is just stupidity unleashed.

They really aren't asinine cretins, lol. And knowing my family if they did anything crazy it would be more funny than sucky. But you never know!

I didn't look through the entire thread so if this got brought up already my apologies.

Anyway...Jester do you know who coined the term Parrotheads for Jimmy Buffet fans? It's someone you know of and that I saw in concert recently and sent you pics of
