But one asshole nearly found his vehicle sitting on 4 flat tires in the county impound yard. That piece of shit sat for a *week.* Good thing that one of the neighbors saw it the week prior...in the driveway of the trailer down the road. They were quick to remove it, otherwise it would have been impounded. Not long after that, I did put up a sign that any abandoned vehicles would be removed after 24 hours.
No sooner did I put that sign up...when a group of kids had their station wagon break down. I don't know what the hell they were doing, but they'd ripped out the entire ignition switch! I was willing to call a tow truck, or even help them fix the car. Instead, they came up with a better idea. That is, they'd push their black car--with no lights of *any* kind on it--down the highway at night
to the trailer where one of the kids lived. I tried to talk them out of it, but they were insistent. At that point, I said goodbye, and left them to their own devices. I didn't hear any squealing of tires or crunching metal, so I hope that means they made it.
