Are those shoes really called Baby Fat, or did you mean Baby Phat? I'm just thinking of the Kimora Lee Simmons line of clothes.....

There is no actual escaping of liquid occurring nor designed to occur.
Not to labour the point, but I would think the fact that there are vents would be proof that sweat is meant to evaporate through the holes, but I also finally did do a Google search and I see what you mean, so I stand corrected.

"Liquid Escape Pants" - Poor marketing name, but it ain't rocket science - They are pants worn during physical activity and they have vents so "liquid" (i.e. sweat) can escape. I don't think the vents cause them to be any colder than regular pants, since, when the person is wearing them, their body temperature is usually already elevated from exertion.
Actually, Liquid is the brand name. The product itself is simply called Escape Pants. For some reason or another. Its the combination of brand name and product name that makes it odd. There is no actual escaping of liquid occurring nor designed to occur. ;p

The shoes would be cute if they were kids shoes. ( Although the name of them still makes me cringe. ) But we don't sell anything for kids. ><

How does removing her phone line sound?
Yes, that was the first thing I asked. But apparently she needs it for some reason or another. Probably to stop her from bothering anyone on the mental health team for 12 hours a day. =p

But what if they're NOT disappointed?
I'm afraid they would be, I'm no Raps.

Hey, it's been awhile since anyone has gotten locked in the parkade
I know, everyone's been smart enough to read the sign lately. Than I got a couple that night. The other guy that got stuck I didn't write up because he actually asked politely and explained his situation. So we got him out. ( Though I think they get charged $30 or something for having to send someone down. )

How do the laces do that? They're pink at the bottom, but white everywhere else.
You know, I didn't notice that.......now I need to know the answer. ><

It's sad, but whenever you talk about the clothes people buy and the combination and stuff, it always ends up being something where I go "I think those are totally cute!"
We sell a lot of nice clothes, actually. But we also sell a lot of rampant silliness. Plus the stock has shifted from good clothes to "gangsta" labels over the year. Which has led to an increase in ingits calling.

Remember, we were doing a Pimpjuice promo a while back. ><

Those shoes could work on a select few individuals. But they aren't kids shoes. I'm more irked by the brand and product name. I'm pretty sure he flashed a gang sign at the phone when he asked for them.

That hoodie however is a lost cause. The other colours it comes in are nice though. I'm just relieved he didn't go for the matching cap, jogging pants and/or skirt as well.

As for the pink, its not so much the colour but the intensity of said colour.

GK, for my amusement, will you pretty please with a cherry on top in your next thread, call someone a hoser??
I will endeavour to to accomplish this.

(Just had to get that out there, because I suspect, due to the oddness and confusion of the name, "Liquid Escape Pants" will become the latest CS "GK namedropping/hero worship" trend, much the same as pink camo became, and I figured the actual reason behind the pants should be clarified...because it isn't all that funny...but then, neither is pink camo.)

*snort* (sorry Jester) OK..that was mean. Funny as hell, but mean.

I am so glad I wasn't the only one who thought the shoes were really cute, pink or not. (I actually like pink.)

So, I'm sitting there looking at the first link I got off of google, and I'm wondering, what, precisely, makes all the pants I'm staring at 'liquid'?

    That's....what exactly?

Ok, this has been haunting me since I saw it on the Skytrain this evening. If you have a single strip of hair down the middle of your skull, and have it spiked, it’s a Mohawk, yes? So what is it called if you have a single strip of hair down the middle of your skull, but rather than spiked it’s luxuriously combed, professionally styled and dyed the faintest tint of girlish pink despite you being a 6 foot full grown adult male in a black leather trench coat and army boots?

Someone actually asked him if it was Halloween. To which he replied “EVERY DAY IS HALLOWEEN!~!”.
Oh my god! It's Hot Pink Guy! How in the nine hells did he get way up there? dude, come baaaaaack, I need phooooootoooooooos!

I think….I inadvertently made the lunatic cry this evening. I’m not sure if I should feel a little bad about it or somewhat proud of myself.
Honestly, I've gotta stop being such a Final Fantasy fangirl. When I read this, I actually thought you were saying you had called down an army of moon monsters to attack the planet. Really.

GK - off topic, but a heads up:
I read in the paper today that some girl has arranged some "silent dance" on the Skytrain on Feb 21st. Everyone is supposed to get on the train and dance to whatever they have on their ipod. Just thought I should warn you so you didn't think everyone had suddenly been turned into dancing zombie idiots. Well, no more than usual.

    Well, yes and no.
Quoth me: Yeah, GK's 'exaggeration-for-effect' misses the mark in regard to those particular women I just listed in order to reassure more sensitive readers that most of us are aware that the sterotype is not universal.

I bet a lot of us do it - not for the stalkery, but just to see what else poor Grave' has to contend with that doesn't make it to the post. I wouldn't ever post those companies I've run across, but I gotta say - apparently even 867ers draw the line somewhere, cause there ARE more atrocious things in some of those catalogs.

To me, the pattern isn't quite as bad as the particular eye-searing shade of pink that they picked to put in it. MY EYES, THEY BURN!

I mean, there are less terrifying shades in existence...

ETA: Upon a second look, there is no good color on that thing. Burn it now. Ick.

Now, y'see I did exactly the same, but wasn't going to mention it incase GK thought I was some bizarre replacement to his stalker. Glad you mentioned it first!

though I gotta say, the baby-fat-whatever shoes are surprisingly tame. Would be rather cute for a 6yr old girl. Heck, if it wasn't bubblegum pink I wouldn't mind the design. But the pink camo sweatshirt needs to DIAF.

Wow. Your admittedly delicious beer and the likes of Sina Schielke, Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer, Julia Stegner, Eva Padberg, etc. etc.? Yeah, GK's 'exaggeration-for-effect' missed the mark a bit there.
    Well, yes and no.

I will be the first to say that some of the hottest women I have met in my life were German. Not German-Americans, mind you, but German. As in frauleins.

That being said, I have also had the dubious pleasure of meeting German women who do, in fact, fit the mold of the stereotypical big, hairy, scary German woman.

Hell, I have met some Czech women that were just ridiculously hot....and some Czech women that most of my generation thought of in the 70's and 80's when the Olympics showed Iron Curtain female athletes.

I would venture to say that just about all ethnic/national groups have a good percentage of hotties AND a good percentage of hosebeasts in their midst, whatever their stereotypes.

Except, of course, Brazilians. Because they are ALL hotties!

On the other hand, given some of the clothing products we've seen that he has to look at daily, I'm pretty impressed that he can find his way home from day to day, much less distinguish nationalities or sexes.
I have to say though that I liked Heidi Klum a lot better when she kept her mouth shut. That woman is on TV everywhere now.
