It's probably a good thing there's a team. They can support each other... you wouldn't want to condemn one person to unending Fangirl-restraint duty, would you?

(Actually mental health teams usually consist of: a psychiatrist or physician to deal with medication issues; a psychologist or clinical social worker to coordinate the overall psychological picture; another lower level social worker or community health worker to help deal with day to day living; a patient advocate who deals with the legal system (sometimes leading the whole team astray into the land of "but she doesn't want to take her meds and you can't make her"); a family member of the patient; or various combinations thereof. The situation in Vancouver is really bad because there hasn't been any funding for the community-level outpatient care that was supposed to be in place when they knocked down all the psychiatric hospitals fifteen years ago, and the number of people needing the (nearly nonexistent) services has only continued to grow )

((By the way, that's probably what my own career is going to be. I'm wavering between a counselling psych degree or clinical social work)).

It's sad, but whenever you talk about the clothes people buy and the combinations and stuff, it always ends up being something where I go "I think those are totally cute!"

I'm beginning to be afraid that you and I are gonna end up like Bruce Willis and Samuel L.
