The thing I don't like about Twilight is that it destroys my preconcieved notion of what a vampire should be.

I'm not going to go into a whole shpiel about stalking and poor relationships but I will say this:

    Blade is a vampire movie

30 Days of Night is a vampire movie

Nosferatu (which I've never seen) is a vampire movie.

Hell, Even Interview with a Vampire is more badass than Twilight.

You do not glitter in the sun, you burn to ash. Jesus, even just get heat stroke (see Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust for that one)
Screw normal. You know why? 'Cause if you're normal, the crowd will accept you. But if you're deranged, the crowd will make you their leader.

It's worth watching if you're a fan of such things. Odd, but pretty good.

you might be selling them soon lol

because of this garbage sparkly craze that has swept the nation (why oh god why there are actually GOOD vamp movies out with... REAL vampires that do more than sparkle and mope.. k im done. save it for fratching lol)

anyways i've seen twilight merch in.. basically every store i've set foot in that expects to get customers younger than 40.

including electronic stores etc. having posters, stickers, dolls etc.

it's insane... but i'm assuming they're selling else stores wouldn't stock em.

We still have Michael Jackson t-shirts and posters. Since the movie was only going to be on for two weeks, these absolutely HAD to be sold. Head office had plans to shift stock between cinemas that didn't sell enough and those that sold out. They were quickly reduced after the opening weekend. And reduced further, and yet further. But we still have them.
Seeing Michael Jackson and Twilight in the same place made me realize: I think we may have finally found something creepier than Michael Jackson.

Also, my cinema sold out of Jackson swag before I could get my paws on it. Boo.
Each one of us has a special place just like the Evergreen Forest. Enchanting, sparkling, and perfect. And, like the flowers that bloom there... fragile.

Actually, Edward is a stalker and Jacob is a wee bit manipulative. So they both kind of suck. But this doesn't matter because Bella isn't actually a character with a defined personality, she's a blank slate women can pretend to be while they're reading.

Side: I actually liked the books, for some reason. Don't ask me WHY; i sure as heck don't know. XD I'm an English major. I clearly understand that they are total crap. But I had fun reading the first three anyway. Weird, right? Oh well, hopefully I atone for that in my love of Hugo, Hawthorne, and Hughes. XDDD

*back on topic* Hate to say it, but your store is probably going to start selling them. If they sell dvds it's only a matter of time; the money return from this franchise is ENORMOUS. Upper-level management would be nuts not to throw in Twilight-goodies while the ball is rolling.

Of course, then my sister would only come and hide it. *rolls eyes* When we're out shopping she likes to stuff Twilight merchandise up on high shelves out of the view of small children. I've told her that this is a really jerky thing to do to the employees but she counters that she is doing her part to save the world, and I can't really -argue- with that. So. XDDDD

Yeah, some of the movies I admit to liking? Crap. But fun crap. Like the live action Scooby-Doo movie. Horribfuckus. But yet I laugh my butt off every time I watch it.
