Oddly enough, I found some Mexicoke today at a really good po-boy shop that I haven't been to in some time. Only problem is, as a "restaurant" they charge $2+ a bottle. Argh. Gotta find somewhere a tad more reasonable...Their poboys still freaking ROCK tho

Our hard-to-get item among "normal" drinks, tho, is MrPiBB, in any form other than in a fountain. Even then, it's really rare except at Subway. This, despite the fact that coke must have an 80%+ local market share...

Try your local Sam's Club? The ones in NM and TX has it. Don't recall seeing it in LA but then I only traveled through the north-end.

I haven't seen it for sale anywhere in the Los Angeles area, except on the local roach coaches, and they want between $1 and $2 for it.

Dr Pepper is distributed about equally between Pepsi and Coke distribution points, so it's likely that a lot of Coke locations will end up with Dr Pepper, in which case they likely won't also carry Mr. Pibb.
