Oh my. I seem to have started something. I need to make more Purchase Cards, then, and rename the Pink Camo Pants card to Pink Camo Pants Purchase Card.
I love the rules, Hyena Daddy!
How would you account for something like the "Sold-By-Weight Items Eaten Before Checkout"? Would that deduct point from the Employee if he can't counter it with an "Awesome Manager" card?
{NTS: gotta make an Awesome Manager Card}Sorry, my cow died so I don't need your bull

A few purchase ideas
Pink Camo:
SC Hand Size 5
Employee Hand Size: 5
Cost: 20
Special Abilities: None
Lottery Ticket:
SC Hand Size: 8
Employee Hand Size: 3
Cost: Special
Special Abilities: The Lottery Ticket is Cost 5 after purchase and Cost 10 while in play. If you have the Lottery Ticket in your Possession, after each round you may "Play" the ticket. Pick a number between 1 and 6, and roll a die. If your pick is correct, discard The Lottery Ticket and draw a card from the Purchase Deck. If your pick is incorrect, discard the Lottery Ticket. If there are no more cards in the Purchase Deck, discard The Lottery Ticket
SC Card: Nunavut.
Pick a card from the Employee's hand. If the card has the word Credit, Debit, Name, Address, Number, Phone, Question, or Gravekeeper on it, end the Transaction. The Employee takes the purchase. Otherwise, discard the card, and score five points.
Employee Card: Hot Tips
Name a card. The SC shows you their hand. If the card you named is in their hand, draw two cards. If not, discard a card.
SC Card: I Want To See Your Manager
Search your deck for the card Spineless Manager. If you find it, place it into your hand.
SC Card: Spineless Manager
Score Twenty Points
Employee Card: Awesome Manager
Discard one card from the SC's hand. This card stays in play. While this card is in play, your opponent cannot play Spineless Manager. If this card is played in response to I Want To See Your Manager, or Scream And Shout, end the transaction. The Employee takes the item.
SC Card:
Race Card: Score five points if your opponent is a different ethnicity from you.
SC Card:
Disability Card: Score five points if your opponent is not sitting in a chair
Employee Card:
Brain Bleach: SC Loses all points. Both players discard their hands, and shuffle their hands back into their decks, then redraw their starting hand size for the round.
SC Card
You'll Never See Me Again: Choose any number of cards in your hand, and place them aside, and remove the current item from play. End the round. On your next SC Round, pick up the cards you placed aside before drawing the rest of your hand
Eaten Before Check-Out: Discard any number of cards. Score five points for each card you discard if you are trying to purchase food.
SC Card: Cat Butt Face:
Discard a card from your hand, and draw a card. This card cannot be countered.
SC Card: Calling Corporate.
If Awesome Manager is in play, place it in the opponent's deck. The opponent shuffles their deck and draws a card.
SC Card:
Special Snowflake: This must be the first card you play on your turn. Double the points scored from any card you play. You may not draw cards this turn.Childrenofthenight.Thecomicseries.com/comics/latest
Check out my comic.
I write, my friend Red draws. Comments welcome. Leave them on their, or on my profile here.

Easy counter for any 'Eaten before checkout" or similar would be a "Loss Prevention Caught you on Camera' card.Quoth EvilEmpryss View PostOh my. I seem to have started something. I need to make more Purchase Cards, then, and rename the Pink Camo Pants card to Pink Camo Pants Purchase Card.

Okay, the latest set.
Note, the Corporate Denial Card can be played by either the SC or the Employee. Whoever has it in their hand gets to apply it against their opponent. Sometimes Corporate comes down on the Employee's side, after all.

This is going great ^_^ You should start planning for the first expansion now:
"The Word of The Gord"
(tho part of my mind is telling we're *slightly* off-topic here, maybe we should move this stuff to a new thread?)
anyhoo...
One great resource for both artwork and cards would be Jennie Breeden's comic that she does for this site -- most of the circumstances in the ones she's done would make good cards in and of themselves, and you could use artwork from the corresponding comic (with her permission) to make the cards themselves!
EE = employee/worker
SC card: I didn't like the food but I ate it all anyway (5 points to SC unless EE can counter it or lose one food Item card) -- an example from the most recent comic
EE card: Doomsday Free Card of Death (causes SC to lose 5 points) (This exists; I've posted about it before...ya see, it's a card offering a free pizza at DaddyJim's, but includes the words "Not good at any DaddyJim's location"...)
SC card: Payment in coin (EE loses a turn while waiting)
Item cards: Pink camo shirt/vest/shotgun/jacket/hat
EE card: Ordering from the wrong catalog (SC loses 10 points)
EE card: ID-ten-T Error (SC loses 5 points)
EE card: PEBKAC Error ("Problem Exists Between Keyboard and Chair") (SC must give one Item Card with "computer" or "technology" in the name to EE; if they don't have any, EE may take one from the Item deck)
SC card: Wrong Number (EE does not draw a card on his next Draw phase, due to aggravation/distraction)
SC card: Tiny yapping pursedog (EE loses a turn trying to prevent entry unless EE has a "medicine" or "headache remedy" card)
Item cards: headache remedy/wood chipper/soapbox/medicine/controlled medication
EE Card: Keys To The Back Room (discard any two cards and then take a random item from the Item pile for free; limit of one per deck)
EE Card: No shirt, no shoes, no service (SC skips a turn unless they have a card with "Wal-Mart" in the name either in their hand or in play)"For a musician, the SNES sound engine is like using Crayola Crayons. Lol, I didn't mind. Most replies one of my threads ever got
*shrugs*. Small update..cameras were checked, everything was on camera of our retrieval of the items (SoP). So if RG tries to claim we took something, we can clearly show that my hands (as it was me who retrieved the items) were in plain sight the whole time, and unless my hands are somehow faster then that camera..I didn't take anything. Footage is stored and ready to be pulled should it be needed, but for some reason I think we won't be hearing from him.

A copy of a post I did on another board for linkable thumbnails;Quoth EvilEmpryss View PostPS: If someone can tell me how to do a silly thumbnail here I'll tweak my post so people can see the cards without going offsite.
An easy way to do thumbnails link to bigger pics
First if not done by your picture hosting service is to use IrfanView to resize the image, call them For example Image and Imagethumb.
If you use Firefox grabbing an extension called bbCode makes it all a hell of a lot easier.
The angle brackets "<" should be replaced with the square "[" brackets in the examples...
Start a URL link to the Image <url=http://myphotobucket account/album/Image.jpg>
Then right where you’d write “Click Here” or similar open an image tag to the thumbnail <img>http://myphotobucketaccount/album/Imagethumb.jpg
Finally close both tags</img></url>
If you’re using Photobucket they supply Copy and pasteable URL lines and IMG tags, in conjuction with the bbCode extension all you need to do is Copy the Immagethumb IMG tags and paste into the message, next copy the URL, highlight the entire Image tagged line, right click> bbCode > bbCode> Clipboard > Make Selection URL and you’re done.[/quote]
This is the test picture that links to the larger version,

and the (didn't realise BBCode did it at the time) no-parsed version of the link
