I need prayers for my brother
I'm not a religious person but my brother is in bad shape, he's had a fever of 102 since Saturday and can't seem to keep anything down. His girlfriend took him to the hospital around 1, and as of 4:30ish he was moved to ICU with a blood infection and a slightly enlarged liver. Mom and Ellen are texting each other back and forth with updates and questions, dad took an emergency break to call the hospital directly to get some information right from them. My parents are going to fly down to NC as soon as he comes home from work. I'm really freaked out and scared, he was supposed to be coming home for Christmas not going through this shit.

Small update
Ellen is going to stay with him, and mom and dad can't fly down but they're going to drive down. My grandma called about a half hour ago and my uncle Jerry is in the hospital now too at St. Peter's, so far this Christmas sucks........./\

Thank you everyone for your well wishes I am in the hospital for further evaluation everything appears to be on track for recovery if you want to visit please message me and I can give you the room number. Love you all
I will have more updates as soon as my parents arrive in NC and get to the hospital he's staying at, no more news on my uncle Jerry though........./\

He has his own room now, they're still doing a couple tests so after that there's nothing we can do but wait. Ellen is still there but Michael is telling her to go home to try to get some decent sleep, dad said that he and mom are gonna come home in a couple days because they want Lauren to see them on Christmas. My uncle Jerry went home from the hospital yesterday too, I still don't know what he was in there for but I'm glad he's ok........./\

Really serious update
My brother is in bad shape right now they're moving him to a specialty hospital, the infection reached his heart and he's having trouble breathing. My mom was crying on the phone and she said dad and Ellen were crying too, the only thing I want for Christmas is for my brother to live........./\

My mother called about an hour ago, me and jamie have bags ready to go any minute to go down and see him. He got worse, they needed to put in a breathing tube and inject him with platelets. He needs another open heart surgery but he's stable right now. I just love him and he needs to get better, the doctor says it's up to him........./\

As of 1:54 his platelet count is up a little bit so it's a bit of good news, I told Nina and Donald what was going on so if I call out or need to leave early they know why. I told Donald I'm going to show up but to have someone as a backup........./\
