Good update!

His platelet count is up a little more and his liver is doing better, we're going to fly down most likely tomorrow but we want to make sure everything is in order before just rushing off. Just everyone keep praying and stay positive.

Thank you everyone, we're getting a flight out on Tuesday morning. I'm gonna go get a key made tomorrow for my grandma so she can take care of the pets, and I'm gonna go the post office and stop the mail. Staying positive.

He's doing better today, they had him drink a nutrient mixture that mom said looked like a milkshake. I got everything packed and ready to go, went to the post office and stopped the mail until January 8th. It will only resume when either me or mom pick it up, mom and dad told grandma if anyone else is in the house besides her to call the police. They are beyond giving a fuck and are seriously putting their foot down about jamie's girlfriend being in the house when they aren't there, so they're not giving even a 1% tolerance for her being there if we're out of the house too. So I'm gonna watch a movie and finish putting the last of everything together, I'll let you guys know when I get to NC. Staying positive.

I'm here with him now, they're saying he's doing better little by little but seeing him like this is a shock. They said if the next 72 hours goes well and his platelet count and liver are good he'll be looking good for surgery, keep praying and stay positive.

He scared us for a bit today but he's fighting, they have him off one of the medicines and took him off one of the machines. We're holding his hands and talking to him, there's still tubes and wires but he's trying to breathe on his own so that's a good sign. Staying positive.

More nurses and his doctors tell us that he's doing better to fight off his infection, but his fever has me freaked out and worried. I went down to the chappel wrote down a prayer and prayed. He's a good person, he doesn't deserve this it's not fair. I'm really trying to stay positive right now.

His temperature is doing way better and he had some tests done and they all came back good, his color is improving and he opened his eyes a tiny bit and moved around a bit so that's a great sign. Keep praying and stay positive.

Another good update

About 15 minutes ago he lifted up his arm a little and held his hand out for mom, and he also opened up his eyes for a couple seconds. They had him very heavily sedated and they took it off yesterday night so we think he'll be able to open his eyes normaly and move more tomorrow, he's getting better and better but we're not done yet. Thank you everyone for your prayers and good wishes, please keep them comming and stay positive.

He's more awake today and tomorrow will be even better, they say they'll probably remove the feeding tube either tomorrow or the next day. They had to put mits on him because he was trying to reach for it, I had to stop him and tell him no. He looked pissed at me but it was for his own good.

He is probably on the "good stuff". And with the fever, odds are good, he will not remember the last couple weeks.
