I've been trying to track down some of the DS Dragon Quests, but haven't had any luck thus far =/

    Question: Why?

For the track record, take a few characters from the DD series, a few more made up from god only knows warped imagination, and throw them into a SF game with horrible mechanics and balance issues.
Oh lordy, I remember that turd. No, I'm talking about Dragon Quest, the RPG franchise that blows Final Fantasy away in Japan. DQV was never released in the states because Enix's US office closed down during the reign of the SNES. They couldn't keep up with Square's US domination of the RPG market. So anyway, thanks to SquareEnix's love for spewing out remakes, DQIV and V were released already and VI is due later this year, with DQIX just over the horizon.

We picked up a Wii this week, along with a couple of exercise type games. Wanted a Wii Fit but of course, nobody has them in stock, and the ones I've seen on Craigslist and eBay either are missing the board, or only come with a Wii in tow...

D keeps telling me she's going to kick my a** at the games because she's been practicing and I haven't had time.

    Morgan Freeman.
Nh Keith David, since he did one of the voices in one of the first 2 games.

After that, I have to finally try to find Dragon Quest V. None of the stores around here had it for more than like a few days.

The Video Game Vault says it so much better than I can...

Currently playing: Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Should finish it today.

Recently acquired and beat: Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon, Final Fantasy III DS, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story

After Zelda, I'm going to go pick up the new Ace Attorney game and play as my second favorite prosecutor. After that, I have to finally try to find Dragon Quest V. None of the stores around here had it for more than like a few days.

Keep contemplating grabbing that off Steam. X-Com collection that is.
I got that, now I have the vague feeling that I should go out to the barn and rummage around and find the saved game editor that a friend wrote for it

True. Spartans don't die a painful, screaming death after taking only 2 or 3 hits from one of their own plasma guns!

I'm not impressed, considering Fire Warrior was the crappest 40K game ever.

Let's see you blue bastards willingly board a genestealer infested Space hulk and see how tough you are.

Another Space Wolf here, hardest bastards around, since what we drink to get drunk, will pretty much kill any other living thing.

I wish they'd put Ron Perlman as the voice for Three Dog, would have been an awesome cameo.
    Morgan Freeman.

Fight it out! Leave lots of time for reaction shots, and try to stay out of direct line of sight when you end turn. Move all your guys a couple of spaces after an alien has seen them, as they target the spot you were in when they saw you last if they can't see you directly. Usually, you won't lose too many if you move quickly.
These are Ethereals, the ones that use mind control at every opportunity, usual battle tactics won't be as effective when my squaddies and sergeants shoot each other (and probably my commander)
