JUST this minute got this text (yeah its od he texts me with good timing i suppose)
Plaid walked 60 feet by himself, no walker or help and is healing great
and apparently he shocked the nurses by doing this, yerp already trying to flirt. LOL
I am home now. In alot of pain. Hard to walk. But Over all good. Lots of cute nurses. I have lots of soda to drink here. I can use the bathroom ok. Tons of pills though. YAY pills.
Hope the healing continues to go well! My sister's husband had both his hips replaced a few years ago. He still walks kind of weird purely out of habit...he walked that way for so long he forgets he can walk normally now! But he's so glad to be rid of the pain, and I know you will be too once the healing is over with.
Seshat's self-help guide:
1. Would you rather be right, or get the result you want?
2. If you're consistently getting results you don't want, change what you do.
3. Deal with the situation you have now, however it occurred.
4. Accept the consequences of your decisions.
