  • Glad to hear you're home and healing, Plaid!

Sorry I wasn't aware of your surgery. I don't get to this Forum much anymore, so missed this Thread. Found it after realizing I hadn't seen anything from you on the Main Forum lately, and found this through your Profile.

Hope you continue to heal well, and say "bye-bye" to the pain very soon!

      • again thanks everyone. Sorry I haven't been posting much. It still hurts to walk at times, and its a tight squeeze to where my computer is, so I'm rarely at it.

But thank you so much again. Ill keep you updated through the many many people that offered.

                  • Many thanks everyone. Seem to go through so many stages during this recovery, I don't know what to expect next.

I do come here when I can. I may not post, cause I have to sit at a very odd angle to have my leg right so it does hurt. But thanks so many to the many many well wishs and texts. It really gets me through the day, even when I'm drugged out and dont know who just texted me or not.

Cat still tries to sleep with me. Thankfully she moved to the other side, and isn't as painful. However I think she's sick, as she sneezing alot lately, which I NEVER seen her do. Sometimes she even keeps her mouth open for a bit before she sneezes, which while hilarious looking on her big mouth, still nerving.

In a negative fashion, my place of emply decided to spring on me a nice little package.

Even though they told me I easily have enough sick and vaction time to last me to december for my health inserence, (Rather then cash it out. Was far more important for health then money to me). I got a letter stating that I ran out of money n july. And that I have to send them 227 dollars by october 1st, or they recend my benefits. As is, I was only covered from june. Meaning my brand new hip replacement is going to cost me. I called them up, asking what the fuck, and they told me they made a miscount when they told me how long I had, and how our benefits price went up and various other bullshit.

Thankfully several friends I've loaned money over many years but they never paid back, decided now is a good time to pay back, so I can pay the bill at least. Still scared me for a good bit.

                      • Hooray for friends and for your good deeds paying off when you needed it. You won't have to pay for your hip then? Cause I think that will come to quite a lot of money .

                              • today was post-op meeting and plaid said he got his staples removed today. one further step forward. awesomes

addition: did not know, removing staples doesn't hurt as much, apparently it was like being pinched when they were removed.
guess it depends on the pain tolerance
