There's a really good restaurant I like to go to called Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.
They put butter on top of the steaks to finish them off.
I don't even think they have steak sauce available. (They probably do, but I've never asked for it).
I used to eat steak with ketchup.
Now, if the steak is cooked well (and seasoned well), there is no need for "flavor enhancers".
However, if we're talking about Child Rum, then I put like 5 pieces of cut up steak and a cup of ketchup on her plate.
Yeah, she likes ketchup.
