People like that always act so tough like everyone is afraid of them, yet they always miss when someone just looks at them unimpressed. They always learn the hard way what happens when you are not smart enough to see the warning signs.

(I was tempted to just block them in with my cab, but decided it wasn't worth it.)
You should have done that and then waited for them to come back as you ran the meter!

Makes you wonder if Argabarga has ever been asked to tow a taxi.
There's something wrong with that tow company, because cabs most certainly can be towed, at least here in Desert Hell. (I've never had it happen to me, though. Around here, cabs can get away with a lot of stuff that would get other cars towed immediately.)

There's also something wrong with the cab company, because Big Green Cab Co (and I imagine most cab companies) can always tell who's in which cab -- no confusion, no "trying to figure it out," etc. The only thing that might happen is the driver won't answer his phone, in which case the company could send someone out with a spare key to remove the cab.

The person in that story should've called property management and complained. When I lived in my old apartment, I had cars towed out of my parking spot more than once. Assigned parking, jerks! Visitor parking is that way. (I was tempted to just block them in with my cab, but decided it wasn't worth it.)

Maybe don't throw your change at the cashier when they call you out on being short on your money?

Maybe that way you won't get banned from the restaurant.

And to make it even worse, her boss at her retail job told Crazy Lady where her other job is!

Crazy Lady expects a retail worker to be available to help her every time she comes in, and goes to the retail worker's full-time office job to ask that she be fired so she can work retail full-time instead.

On a scale of one to ten, though, how was my scream?

    Fifteen. Never do that again.
That part just cracks me up entirely.

Showed up Sunday evening on the basis of being told on the phone earlier in the week that there was an opening? There was an opening WHEN SHE PHONED - could quite easily have been booked by another group between then and Sunday. Expecting to pay after the fact? My guess is that she'd have "partied and dashed".
