I honestly think this season may be the last for me. There were stupid things in the Russell T davies run but honestly it just feels like the show has lost something.

Not really. Spoilers: At that point, what building? They destroyed that particular time and setting via paradox (jumping off the building). They just happened to meet a survivor, who may or may not have sent them back into the same relative time period, but not that reality precisely because it can no longer exist because of Rory's double "death".

BTW, we're at nearly a week past original showing, are we past spoiler point?

Spoilers! Although Amy's name wasn't originally on the gravestone, that only meant her death wasn't fixed. It didn't mean she couldn't go back in time, just that she hadn't set it as a guarantee, yet.

BTW, that particular graveyard doesn't exist - at least not in that location. You can't see the Manhattan skyline that clearly from either the Calvary or the Mount Hebron graveyards.

You guys really want to see how brutal the series can be about removing a companion from the TARDIS? Go look up the Fifth Doctor episode "Earthshock." Or look at the Second Doctor's "Dalek Invasion of Earth" story. Not all companions get a happy ending.
