You tried saying it five times fast, didn't you?

Corporate can't control crazy customers (say that five times fast!), but they can control their managers.

    That is all...

I can't believe the manager would still let this guy eat there after being aggressive.
I hate that the manager sat the guy, but I understand why. Had he actually gotten physical with the employee, and a report had to be made with the corporate higher-ups (if there are any) about it, the higher-ups would've wanted to know why the manager didn't diffuse the situation.

    That made me mad...
This story really ticked me off as well, and I agree the poor employee was not only thrown under the bus but run over several times. If you read the replies to this story you'll see they are uniform in that this clown should NOT have been rewarded for his actions but should have been immediately told to leave and not return.

If I'd been in line and seen this asshat get seated before me I would have immediately registered a complaint with the manger before leaving, and inform corporate and the media exactly why I would not be eating there again...

That made me mad. I would've loudly expressed my disgust that the manager threw the employee under the bus and rewarded the jerk for his threatening behavior, said I wouldn't dine anyplace that does that, and walk out. It'd be nice if the folks behind me did the same thing. Might get through that manager's skull.

Going out on a hunch here but I'm guessing the restaurant does not have a 30 minute delivery guarantee.

It appears the same story has been posted twice, from both perspectives.

Anyone want to guess which is the correct one?
Well, if the comments on the posts are to be believed, the NAW version is the accurate account, and the NAR version was someone attempting to troll the story-submitter/customer.

GREAT comeback to a bad joke.

The guy with the overly jealous girlfriend seriously needs to get away from that relationship post haste. She sounds psychotic.

ETA: OK, this is weird. I tried going through Chrome instead of Firefox, and now there's pages of NAW posts that I haven't seen before. (I had to go to page 7 to find the story I mentioned above.)
I actually stopped using Firefox quite a while back because it started doing things like that to me. I actually use IE as my main browser, because it actually has a feature or two I like, but Chrome is my backup browser. I have two monitors, so it's easy to have both open at once that way, and I don't have to worry about some sites where I want to be logged in on two accounts at once because I just use the other browser for the second account. I've also got a short list of sites where I've had documented cases of getting viruses through the ads on said sites, so they are relegated to Chrome-only so I can use AdBlock on them.

Well, that's odd, because I just checked, and the most recent one is the same one it's been for days - At Work And Having A Ball.

I have had a problem with it not refreshing recently. Do a reload.

This guy needs to get out of that relationship ASAP!
But meanwhile it's probably a-okay for the woman to hang out around other men.
