Myself...sure I could pull that off, but I prefer the rule of "one". Either you show off your cleavage or your legs, but not both. Both is too much and you no longer look classy. So if I wear a skirt, I wear a shirt with a higher neckline. If I wear a low cut shirt with lots of cleavage, pants go with it.
while im in my 20s im under the "show off as much of the hottness while i can" mode

The problem is people tend to override "class" and "good taste" when they do this. Plus the only people you attract are the ones specifically looking for maximum exposed hotness.
I believe Blas has a thread on them a few topics down ><
Don't get me wrong, I'm not all Freudian on these profile things. But if a guy can't take even five minutes to make sure the he's putting the best impression of himself out there for something he's looking for - you're right, that's not someone who is my type.
I'm with you there. I would not be impressed by someone who couldn't be bothered to use actual words and make sure they're spelled right. If you know you suck at spelling, have someone look at it for you. My dad's a smart guy, but he sucks at spelling. He has me check things for him before he puts them up on the site he's webmaster for...
I am the same way with football. I would love to date a football fan, but if my girl is not into it, no worries, just as long as she doesn't get on my case for spending Sundays in the fall in bars, drinking beer, and yelling at the tv as I watch my favorite game.
See, I wouldn't mind a guy who likes to watch a game once a week. I'm not a football fan but I have no problem entertaining myself for a few hours, or if I want to hang out with him I'll read while the game is on.
Edit: Well, ok, shopping *might* to a degree. Because it gives me an audience with whom I can mock products and people with. Toy stores are especially amusing for this.
I hate shopping (for the most part...the older I get the more I hate). But that sounds like fun.
Heh, me too. I'll read just about anything that catches my eye...history, science, fiction, cultural studies, current affairs...whatever....about the only sections of the store I wouldn't be found browsing in would be romance/mystery/sci-fi. And most of the self help section, except psychology.
I don't go in for ancient wisdom I don't believe just 'cause ideas are tenacious It means that they're worthy - Tim Minchin, "White Wine in the Sun"
Still, one of the fundamental rules of fashion is dress for the body you have, not the one you think or wish you had. I don't think its elitist, really. Seems more like common sense to me.
For the record, I was having fun with Blas. I was NOT being real serious about her being "elitist."
Oh, I wasn't putting her down for not knowing that word. I was merely stating that I was impressed with the fact that it took until that point in the vocabulary section before she needed a definition. Even more impressed that she didn't need me to use small words to explain what it meant.
(Yes, I really like this one, if you haven't noticed.)

Hehe the only football I watch...is the Steelers game once a week. I never really understood the whole "must watch them all, even if it's a team I don't care about" mentality
Aerodynamics are for people who can't build engines. --Enzo Ferrari
Because some of us just love the game....and sometimes our team sucks balls.
I am a Raiders fan. (Yes, I'll take your sympathy and your pity....especially if they are in the form of a cold sudsy beverage!) And I love watching the Raiders game. But if they are on bye, or the game is sucktastic (say they're playing Detroit--or a real team that sucks that season), I will watch other, better games. And I enjoy watching, perhaps not ALL the games, but many of the games on a Sunday. Just because my team plays (usually) at 4 doesn't mean I am not going to watch the 1:00 games!
Because, as we all know, football RAWKS!

Someone's been watching a lot of What Not To Wear!
you know, this thread is like cheap therapy finding out how many other people's love life sucks... I'd say as much as mine, but I submit my case for me taking first place.
I am gay, a self proclaimed geek/nerd, who I'll be honest is not that attractive, working graveyard shift, and living in Utah... I have been on one date since moving here, it took nearly a week and a half just to work out a time that worked for both of us.
Oh yes, according to geek 2 geek, I am the only male seeking male on the sight in this county.
According to gaygeeks.org I'm the only gay geek in this state that is registered
I've attempted dating sights, never had one person email me from one and the about 3 or 4 that I've emailed never replied.
