I really really really want an exercise bike.

(Please don't suggest a real bike. I still have scars from the last time I rode one.)

Started doing weights every other day, and am trying to get to the gym everyday.

I went last night later than I usually go, and it was great! AC, few people, and since I ate dinner before, I wasn't starving

Well - after a huge, yawning gap in my gym attendance I've finally gone back. I have a new programme and it takes me about 90 minutes all told.

A stack load of resistance work and 1500 meters on the rower in 500m blocks.

I'm itching to go back (I went twice last week and today will be my second visit this week, third visit on Friday )

This whole having to go up and down stairs thing is working out well, my butt already looks better (doesn't hurt that I think my hamster has a better memory so I am constantly fetching stuff from whatever floor I'm not on).

I wanted to go to the park this weekend, but it was close to 100 degrees outside. Oh well, back to work tomorrow, so I can go to the gym and be bored on the treadmill.

Hi. First post in this thread. I posted a few weeks ago that I had lost 5 pounds. Today I'm down 10 total! Woohoo!

Cat, have you tried on your thin jeans? Frankly hiking up and down mountains is a very good way to gain muscles.
Nah, the tummy is def a wee bit bigger. Meh, easy one, easy off. I ate well in NH

This week, when I weighed in, it said I've lost 15 lbs from last week. I'm not sure exactly how that works, but that puts me at 20 lbs lost since I started sparkpeople.

Gained about 4 pounds after the trip Thought I was eating okay and thought the hiking up 5 mountains was burning it off!

Oh well, 4 pounds is easy to lose, I just wanna wear my awesome thin jeans!

Will rest this week, and back to working out next week. We're going back to NH in Oct, and I can't slack

I didn't realize how out of shape (and forgetful) I am until we moved into a two-story townhouse. It isn't like one flight of stairs phases me but after going up and down trying to find stuff (a lot of which is still in boxes) or getting ready for work I can really feel it. I used to have such strong legs it makes me sad, the still look rather nice and I can run about as well as I used to (which isn't to say that I was ever more than an average runner at best) but stairs just really take it out of me.

For the first time in my life I think I'm going to have to figure out a solo exercise regime, before I just always had sports

Back to the bike after a knee-related absence. Thirty minutes, 483 calories. Started to eat less once more. *sigh*

Been off the bike for a couple of weeks. Ow.
