Back when I started (not that I'm much more than fitful now), I was doing two and five minutes jogs on the Wii Fit. Took a little while, but I eventually managed to get up to the thirty minute jogs, and I'm sure I could have done more. These days, I restrict myself to a thirty minute session on the exercise bike, but I reckon I could do forty-five minutes without any real problem, barring strain on my knees.
Practice, mate. You'll get there.

Plaid, do what you can to the limit of what you can possibly do. Don't get to the point of pain, but as close as you can. Do that, and only that, for like a week. Then, the next week, aim for comething small, like 5 more minutes, 3 more minutes, just SOMETHING more than what you were doing.
Rinse and repeat.
You can do it!!!

Beginner my butt.
So yeah... trying more excerise. Hey, beginner excerise videos on demand. How to workout and stuff.
Got completely winded within three minutes. Couldn't even keep up the so called beginner videos.
I'm so out of shape. And I need to exersise every other day for x amount of time. But I can't even reach a third of it.
I've tried other exersise. How the heck do you keep going if you don't even have the energy to lift an arm or leg after a few minutes?

I went to the gym twice this week. Which is more than I've done in the last month+.
Monday I did about 40 minutes on the treadmill, and Wednesday I did 15 minutes on the elliptical (until my legs gave out; not used to that one), then I walked on the treadmill for 30.
I'm trying to use my treadmill time to listen to podcasts. I have about 12 days worth on my iPod.
(One of them goes back to 2006 in old episodes. Some day I'll catch up.)
Today I will be cleaning my apartment, so I will get a workout in there.

Have been working out 6 days a week for the past 18 weeks. So far I've lost 20 pounds and as of today I'm back into a healthy BMI of 24.9!

Unfortunately its not mine... but I want one!!!Quoth Elspeth View PostWhich games did you get? Haven't had a lot of time to play with it. We need to move the living room around. I loved the fitness one, though my knee did not like the zen stuff.
My friend got a good selection of games to try out, from sonic the hedgehog, to Dance Central and yoga & sports & others.
Even though I go to the gym pretty regularly, some of the games are blooming hard work!! A couple have reminded me about how unco-ordinated I am too, spent half the time picking myself up off the floor

Thirty minutes, 513 calories. Knees only showing slight amounts of complaining, so still holding back from going on every day. However, this is far more exercise biking than I've done in quite some time.

I broke my personal records last week with workouts that apparently burned between 600/700 cals YAY
Took it easier today, I'm off to stay with my friends again this week for the Kinect UK launch.... and I didn't want to risk my knee going twang again for that!

Thirty minutes, a smidge over 500 calories. Am having very little in the way of knee troubles, despite pounding the cobbles in Prague the other week, and despite the rather upped exerciuse bike regime of late.
Current in-exercise entertainment is Zoolander.

Well my NIA class officially ended last week. So now i have nothing to do. I technically know all the NIA moves so I could do them at home on my own, but i don't know the right way to build the moves together so that I warm up and cool down properly and don't hurt myself.
I guess I'm without a work out plan until I'm back at university in January. >.<'
